Hare Krishna dear devotees,
We all have that one Krishna pastime which instantly melts the heart, the kind that brings a smile even on difficult days. It might be something mischievous from Krishna’s childhood in Vṛndāvan, a tender moment with Mother Yaśodā, a playful interaction with the gopas, a deep instruction from the Bhagavad-gītā, or even a small detail that personally resonates with our own journey.
Some pastimes make us laugh, some fill us with awe, and some remind us of Krishna’s overflowing compassion and sweetness.
So I wanted to ask all the devotees here:
Which pastime of Lord Krishna always brings joy to your heart, the one you never get tired of hearing? And why does it touch you so much?
Would love to hear your reflections. Sharing these gems often inspires others and rejuvenates our own bhakti as well.

I remember one more beautiful story
Once lord balarama came to lord krishna (when they were both very young) and said
Balaram: Krishna tujhe pata hai
Krishna: kya bhaiya?
Balaram: dekh, maa yashoda Gori, nand maharaj bhi Gore, par tu kaala, matlab samajh rha hai?
Krishna: nahi! Kya matlab?
Balaram: yahi ki TUJHE BAZAR SE UTHA KE LIYE HAI!
Krishna: NAHI!! Aisa nahi hai.
Balaram aisa hi hai.
(Then lord krishna went to mother yashodha and asked)
Krishna: Maiya, mujhe baazar se utha ke laye hai? Mai apka putr nahi hu??
Yashoda: nahi beta, tu mera hi putr hai, kisne kaha Aisa tujhse?
Krishna: voh dau kehe rahe thi ki mujhe bazar se utha ke laye hai, yeh day hamesha aisa karte hai aur mai hamesha akela pad jata hu. Toh mere sath agar koi hota na ... Toh mai dau ko javab de pata.
Yashoda : par kon lala?
Krishna: voh dekho na maiya, nand maharaj ke mitra hai na vrsabhanu aur aap bhi toh kirtida ji ki dost ho, toh... Unki na ek beti hai RADHA , aap meri usse shaadi karado. Vaise toh mera shaadi karne ka aisa koi maan nahi hai PAR fir kirtida bhi toh apki samdhan ban jayengi aur aur jab mai aur Radha ek sath honga na toh mai dau ko bhi javab de paunga. Haa.

Hare Krishna, Govind Sharan,
For me, the pastime that always brings a smile is Krishna stealing butter with his little friends in Vṛndāvan. The way he mischievously climbs into houses, finds the butter, and shares it with his friends never fails to melt my heart. It reminds me of his playful, loving nature and how even small acts can be full of sweetness and joy. Every time I hear this story, it fills me with a lighthearted happiness and gratitude for Krishna’s divine pastimes.
