Hare Krishna dear devotees,
"Do your best, leave the rest" is a well known statement very often used in devotee community as well. However, my questions is that when should i leave the situation on Krishna. How can I know that now I have done all that I could and now Krishna will handle it.
How can I identify that point in time when my influence is over.
Ques summary: "Leave on Krishna, but when?"

Hare Krsna prabhu,
PAMHO.
Do everything as if it depends on you, pray as if everything depends on the lord.
inaction cannot be an excuse for surrender. Surrender means we surrender the results of efforts to Krsna. the work has to be done by us only, do not expect Krsna to come and do your homework (so to say).
The more we realise the above statements, the more we depend on Krsna.
Haribol,
Your servant,
Radha Rasamayi DD
Hare Krsna
"Leave on Krishna, but when?"
Always
How can I identify that point in time when my influence is over.
We have absolutely no influence on happenings of the world whatsoever
prakṛteḥ kriyamāṇāni
guṇaiḥ karmāṇi sarvaśaḥ
ahaṅkāra-vimūḍhātmā
kartāham iti manyate
The spirit soul bewildered by the influence of false ego thinks himself the doer of activities that are in actuality carried out by the three modes of material nature.( BG 3.27)
We only think that we are doer, or we have influence, but that is not reality.
We can only endeavour.
How much to endeavour?
As much as we can.
Hare Krsna
Hare Krishna,
When you have done your side of hardwork every possible effort and there is nothing left from your side to add or do. You will leave it on Krishna the results of the action done.
For you one example in practical day to day life.
Let us say hmm. You apply for a job.
Prepare a proper CV
Apply sincerely
Prepare for the interview
Show up on time
Answer honestly and attentively.
At this stage, you do NOT say “Krishna will do it” and skip preparation. That would be avoidance, not surrender.
Krishna says in BG कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन । मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥ ४७ ॥ ( 2.47 BG)
You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.
Okay Now after your part is done. ASK yourself
1. Can I redo this interview? X
2. Can I make or force the decision of this interview in my favor? X
3. Can I improve anything now? X
Now, At this stage you will say in your heart. Okay Krishna I have done my part. Now I leave the rest on your grace.
If you get the job- oh it is Krishna's grace, I got the job.
If you are not selected and didn't get the job- think Oh surely Krishna has some better plan for me. Then there is no lamentation.
You did you part perfectly. You have not left any stone unturned. Results are not in your hand. If Krishna gives it is His grace. If Krishna doesn't let it happen. Then also it is Krishna's grace. Maybe Krishna wants me to wait for something more apt job for my caliber.
Hare Krishna.
