Please accept my humble obeisances
Some of us are doing a job or some of us are studying. Most of these occupations are dictated by illusory energy of the Lord and are directly not Krishna conscious activities.
I understand that we can take up these activities in a purificatory spirit. However, by being in contact with the material energy, the spirit soul has to acquire material modes, otherwise it is not possible to work in such an environment.
For me it has been quite long working in such an environment. The material energy is unrelenting. I know I cannot be happy until I directly engage in Krishna conscious activities but I have to work in the material environment to provide atleast the basic amenities to myself and my dependents.
Just wondering ki kab Krishna ki mercy hogi. Sab kuch pata hote bhi I am not able to do anything without Krishna's mercy. When will He engage me directly in His most confidential service?

Just yesterday you were crying like, “Kab hogi Krishna ki mercy, kab hoga direct engagement…” And today suddenly you’ve become realized soul after reading one para of Bhagavad-gita? Seriously, at this speed you’ll reach Goloka by weekend only.
Did you find the reply through progressive reading, or did your progressive overthinking finally take a break? Look prabhu, all of us were wondering when Krishna will shower mercy on you. But it seems Krishna directly sent you the message: “My dear child, first read the Gita properly.”
I feel good that you found your own answer, but next time, first read Gita and then post emotional drama. Otherwise, i will think Krishna Dasa is having an existential meltdown again. Hari Hari.
Actually, I have lost count how many times I have tried to read Bhagavad-gita very carefully.
Something else has or may have clicked with my understanding earlier. Like it is said that there is a fresh realization in every progressive reading of Bhagavad-gita.
It is really wonderful that I found the perfect reply to my own query during my progressive reading of Bhagavad-gita As It Is:

" The knower of the Absolute Truth is convinced of his awkward position in material association. He knows that he is part and parcel of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, and that his position should not be in the material creation. He knows his real identity as part and parcel of the Supreme, who is eternal bliss and knowledge, and he realizes that somehow or other he is entrapped in the material conception of life. In his pure state of existence he is meant to dovetail his activities in devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna. He therefore engages himself in the activities of Krsna consciousness and becomes naturally unattached to the activities of the material senses, which are all circumstantial and temporary. He knows that his material condition of life is under the supreme control of the Lord; consequently he is not disturbed by all kinds of material reactions, which he considers to be the mercy of the Lord.
