Although she got it for her brother, but he liked another one so by the mer u of Balaram ji I go to wear it. She said that I should take care of it even after removing it, and so I did.

But since it is made of threads I it breaking and now I don't know what to do with it. I can't just throw it and I dont know how to deal with it. Can anyone please guide me through.

Also what should we do with other rakhis too?

  • Hare Krishna Akshit prabhu ji,

You can find a natural water source like a river or  flowing water and do visarjana of that thread Or find a pepal tree and tie to the branch

Or dig up small pit under need a tree or tulasi plant and put it under the soil where people don't walk over.

  • If the rakhi was offered to Lord Balarāma, you may flow it in a clean natural water body like a river, pond, or lake) — just ensure it’s not dirty or polluted. This is considered a respectful return of the offered item to nature, which is also part of Kṛṣṇa’s energy. Hari Hari.

    • Ok prabhuji thank you
