Although she got it for her brother, but he liked another one so by the mer u of Balaram ji I go to wear it. She said that I should take care of it even after removing it, and so I did.
But since it is made of threads I it breaking and now I don't know what to do with it. I can't just throw it and I dont know how to deal with it. Can anyone please guide me through.

Have it arranged to be sent to me. I will ensure that it reaches Balarama. Although He is not on IDT He too lives in Delhi.
If the rakhi was offered to Lord Balarāma, you may flow it in a clean natural water body like a river, pond, or lake) — just ensure it’s not dirty or polluted. This is considered a respectful return of the offered item to nature, which is also part of Kṛṣṇa’s energy. Hari Hari.
Ok prabhuji thank you
