What is Vedic Wisdom and how to utilize our motivations for Lord Krishna ?

This is based on the first chapter of Bhagavad Gita As It Is.

1.  Vedic Wisdom.

There are 4 Vedas:  Rigved, Yajurved, Atharvaved, Samved.

5th Veda:  Bhagavad Gita.

2.  Try to understand Bhagavad Gita without personally motivated interpretations.

This is somewhat puzzling and tricky for a materialist like me who is only result oriented.  Explain please.

    Using our energy for (KC)
    (BG) which to choose?
    (1) A tool for cultivating a Loving & nurturing addaration & understanding of & for the Respectable GodHeads. Storys Ledgends & discreptions of the Prowis of Cognasent truly- (Conchus) beings. Mentoring others does require a disproportionate degree of understanding of this type of Metaphysical Wosdom that can accually be gleened Viah-Vadic Wisdom. (2)
These energies would & should be. Used as to Clarafier one's mind body & Karmas of contamminations.
This cuppled with the practices of emotional, physical & mental equilibrium & same-ness. is conductive for abbtaing God's association, which is Conductive to acomplishing everything else!
(BG)-as-It Is," as Translated by (His Divine Grace (SP)pp .Those who worship the Dim-I-God's) for materal favors do so withOut a full & proper Understanding" Krishna's words (paraphrased) as to His personal eternal position of transendental Supremacy & "inexzostable energies!
Many uneqek & incomparable attributes can be attributed to Krishna (Alone). Many personal atrabrauuts can be accredited Souly* to Sri Krishna and we will find many proclaimed by God HimSelf in the (BG).
I too have not seen any other (BG) translation that demonstrates "The words of Krishna's language as a being spoken in the (1st.) Person. Most people are ultimately impersonalist that will try & *Spinoff a bunch of (pitch) exspozing their own poor fund of understanding do to their lack of-(Direct expereinchel Understandings).
Cheating & speculations, resulting in a very convaluted expereince of what was to be a pure translation of Krishna's words & their intended" Straightforward discreptions of our cercomstance's & Hi's eternal Personal identity. Furthermore as I read the truth in the words of the Bhakti Addmin Lady Sri RadhaMie just yesterday on this site She said
Through The (Bg) Krishna is explaining where we areb who we are Who & what Myia is, & what's our eyernal constitutional position within this creation.i.e. How we got hear, how to serve & servive hear, all the (yogas, & there diffrent values, how to get the heck out of hear. "Paraphrasing"
Result orientated" is the exact discreption of Krishna's Straight forward explicit, & grave instructions.
Resultes after all, do not matter much if they are not Spiritualy evolutionary. (No they don't) Who would have any transendental-abilities or energies if it were not for The Great GuruDava Sril (PP) & The Gita "as-it-is translation. Good questions good answers & thanks to you for providing such an opp. To join in on the (kk)-Krishna Kahtah! Sincerely.

  • Such a simple Formula so obviously infallible, prefect absolutly prefect. & (So deep)
Because Krishna's also saying hear, that, at the end of this Wikked so called life, Our Souls will*go to that place of our worship to that being that we have worshiped, we are choosing the destanys of our Souls everyday in everyway when we offer prazes & credits for what we have & do, our Karmas will bring us together in the end. Bom like a bullit straight home to VikunthaLoka home of Vishnu an eternal realm within the materral world. Spirit & mattet are like oil & water so, to accomplish an alcimy of these opposites Yoga & mantra worke quire nicely!

    Hare Krsna

This is somewhat puzzling and tricky for a materialist like me who is only result oriented.  Explain please.

BG is not just for understanding. It is for living. Some people understand just by hearing & live like Arjuna. Others need to practice and live to understand it.

    What is Vedic Wisdom

It is all the wisdom present in all the vedic literature. It is too vast. The essence of vedss is Srimad Bhagavtam

    nigama-kalpa-taror galitaṁ phalaṁ
     śuka-mukhād amṛta-drava-saṁyutam
    pibata bhāgavataṁ rasam ālayam
     muhur aho rasikā bhuvi bhāvukāḥ

O expert and thoughtful men, relish Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the mature fruit of the desire tree of Vedic literatures. It emanated from the lips of Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī. Therefore this fruit has become even more tasteful, although its nectarean juice was already relishable for all, including liberated souls. (SB 1.1.3)

The essence of upanishads is BG

    Sarvopanisado gavo

    dogdha gopala-nandanah

    partho vatsah sudhir bhokta

    dugdham gitamrtain mahat

All the Upanisads are like a cow, and the milker of the cow is Sri Krsna, the son of Nanda; Arjuna is the calf, the beautiful nectar of the Gita is the milk, and the fortunate devotees of fine theistic intellect are the drinkers and enjoyers of that milk. (Gita Mahatmya)

How to utilize our motivations for Lord Krishna ?

kāmaṁ ca dāsye na tu kāma-kāmyayā (SB 9.14.20)

By using our motivations in fulfilling the desires of the Lord.

We can use our motivations/ desires to fulfill the desires of Sri Krsna rather than desiring something separately for our own gratification.

By watering the root of the tree, all the parts of the tree like branches, leaves, trunk, flowers, fruits etc  are nourished. Similarly by fulfilling the desires of Krsna we will become satisfied because Krsna is the root of our existence.

This is a very high stage, but we need to start by taking small steps.

Simply by chanting of Hare Krsna, Krsna is pleased.

    Hare Krsna

    • The most important message of the Gita in my mind, in the (BG) is
When Krishna said "all these CREATIONS are as relient upon me as perils strung on (a) string"
That Paraphrasing & I don't know the verce # but the "discreptiin is quite literal. All things at all times are relient upone Him! This MahnoTheist prensabal is imployed by Him for the good reason that He Loves us Unconditionaly & (knows)/100% sure that we Hi's Bhakties are better off renouncing (all mya) & so called other Gods and dissaplins not pertinent to the "recovery of our "long lost, relationship with Him. I.e. He knows what is best for our Spiritual progression & He has determined that He should be the Guru of all,-)for our sakes.)* So follow this to the letter & gently drop all other interests. & make the mind & body clean to reciece Hi's instructions thrugh a purrafid heart. An hr. or two per day sacrificed by the false Ego in grattatud f or the 23 hr.s everyday that He has given us. (PP) HDG) use to m as ke that reminder. To practice Darma is to say that we recognize that we are Karmicly indebted & mentaly neglectful of this inevitable- debt as a reality, it's inherent in our physical form. & we must act to always reestablish that conchus connection daily!
The bottom line is Krishna is the highest & the Original form of Gid So why even get involved with any other path, why deveate or debate. get about the business of re-aquanting yourSelf with the Supremely (Incognito) Supreem Supper Soul of All.
When will the opportunity present it's self again (?) After another 4 Sessions of time. But only now within this Seasion of (Youga) does He reveal Hi's personal mostHigh form or' show Hi's unconditional causless compassion to personaly re-inter our hearts as instructing Guru! Only now only hear. The direct/intimate personal qpproch is (KC) thats why to read the (BG) because KRISHNA is personally describing & designating Him self deceptively. In-the 1st. person as The Original & only enexzostable GodHead. aAnd addvise us on choosing Who & How to worship accordingly. It's calling Us Home back to the GidHead*

Try to understand Bhagavad Gita without personally motivated interpretations.

This is somewhat puzzling and tricky for a materialist like me who is only result oriented.  Explain please.

What Srila prabhupada means is -> Our purpose of reading Bhagavad Gita shouldn't be materialistically profit oriented.

This will be clear if you understand what some of those motives are

      1. There many people who read BG only to give out their own interpretations and make money out of it. There are many versions of BG which give wrong meanings that are popularized. The publishers/authors purpose is make money out of god.

      2. There are people who read BG find faults with it and create doubts. Max Meuller is best example of this. He read some scriptures and mocked hindu scriptures saying how can a monkey fly across ocean etc. Their purpose is to break faith in god of common people and control them.

      3. There are people who are  who will read BG and bring out a materialistic meaning by avoiding God/ Spirituality altogether. Their motivation is to remove God from picture all together say life is ultimately dead matter, no superior energy and enjoy till you die. They may also say Do good karma so that you can enjoy in this life and next. Their purpose is to kill God.

      4. Then there are the worst kind of people who read Bhagavad Gita looking for support to their underlying degraded belief that I am God, or we are all god. Their purpose is to become/ replace God

These are  4 purposes one SHOULD NOT have for reading Bhagavad Gita - Money, Creating doubt in others, Inimical to Krsna & Becoming Krsna.

What should be the purpose of reading Bhagavad Gita ?

It should be to accept the divine knowledge given by Sri Krsna. We have to read Bhagavad Gita with a willingness to improve our spiritual consciousness.

We must be also flexible to change our life according to the teachings of Bhagavad Gita.

In the beginning most of us are materialistic & result oriented. But at least we can keep our materialistic nature and profit mentality in one corner while reading Bhagavad Gita.

      Hare Krsna

Remember Max Muller: The man employed to create a distorted translation of the Vedas
Max Muller strongly believed in the need for reforms in Hinduism in order to superimpose views of Christianity on former.
