I have 2 questions pertaining to thoughts/thinking in the age of Kaliyuga
1. Is there concession in the age of Kaliyuga for sinful thinking/thoughts ?
2. Is there any spiritual benefit for spiritual activities which are mentally performed e.g. just remembering Krishna and his devotees in a prayerful/thankful/gratitude mood ?

Regarding you question, do mental sinful activities cause a bad reaction? The answer is no, they do not. We do not suffer for thinking something sinful. Not in this age. That is a special concession for Kali-yuga. Yes, you are correct in stating that spiritual activities, even mentally performed, are beneficial. You have seen the picture in NOD how a brahmana simply by mental service was promoted to Vaikuntha. SP to Madhudvisa, 72-12-21, Bombay
For a pure devotee, it is the same whether he materially constructs a path or constructs one within his mind. This is because the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Janardana, is bhava-grahi, or appreciative of the sentiment. For Him a path made with actual jewels and a path made of mental jewels are the same. Though subtle, mind is also matter, so any path - indeed, anything for the service of the Lord, whether in gross matter or in subtle matter-is accepted equally by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Lord accepts the attitude of His devotee and sees how much he is prepared to serve Him. The devotee is at liberty to serve the Lord either in gross matter or in subtle matter. SP, CC 2.1.161 p.
Our mind is more powerful than we tend to think so it should be used carefully.

Hare Krishna !! Thank you so much for taking the time out to respond and for your highly accurate response to the question !!
Actually only Dharma can and will exist in Sat-Yuga… adharma will be punished (experienced consequences) immediately. This is the wisdom of Vedic Science.
Other religions have no concept of Yuga. Therefore, one can (safely) assume that those religions did not exist in other Yugas and therefore will not exist after the end of Kali-Yuga.
Also, there is no reference to any other religion in the Vedas, stories and legends.
