devoutees obeisances, I am currently working from Monday to Saturday and would like to think more about Krsna, understanding that I perform functions all day long.
Once in a while I sing one or two rounds in my bad japa when I'm alone in the office, but I feel it's not enough in job :
Do you have any suggestions?

Hare KRsna Prabhuji,
PAMHO.
Most people are working and continuing their sadhana both.
Rule No 1 - chant 16 rounds of mahamantra every single day, without exception. How, when, where - that each of us have to figure out what is the best suited to our unique conditions.
Second thing is - there should be some reading everyday. You could read in office also - www.vedabase.com; www.dandavats.com; this website - lot of articles and books are there. Systematically read.
Associate with devotees. If you cant find in your office, then weekends you must go to temple and get into a congregationsal preaching near your house, so that you are in constant association of devotees. THis is most effective.
Prasadam - diet has to be KRsna prasadam. Food offered to Krsna - veg food without onion garlic can be offered.

Hi Radha Rasamayi DD , you have answered some questions for me also, excuse me joining on to this thread. Is the above really possible ? ie to add the 16 rounds , reading etc, association.

Hare Krsna Prabhuji,
PAMHO.
There was another person with the same id few months ago, had to be deleted. Not sure whether the same person has returned.
To answer your question, it is possible prabhuji. I know scores of devotees who have managed to find a balance between their busy lives and taking out time for spiritual pursuits. Initially it may be a struggle, but when we are sincere, Krsna makes our environment conducive. Of course, we have to make our efforts every single day.
That is the entire trick - how to simplify our over complicated lives. The more we are able to simplify, the more time we have for devotion. We have to learn to limit our needs - to question at every instance, is it a need or a want. Then slowly, try to limit the wants and take care of needs alone.
It helps if one is chanting al lthe while. Reading Gita atleast will also help.
