Lord Jesus tells us "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven.
Being laughed at and ridiculed for telling people about Krsna is a great blessing for you!

i have nothing to say much for i am a fallen soul trying to seek radharani's shelter... i would like to say.........
If you are standing on the banks of a river and somebody is drowning in the river and asks for help...u give your hand...and now if your not holding anywhere...what will happen is that he can pull you in and now both of u will will drown! However if you are holding tightly somewhere...and then you give your hand for help...then you can save him! Similarly to save an atheist, firstly we must be firmly convinced devotion wise and knowledge wise( this is like holding somewhere tightly) only then one can successfully oppose arguments and defeat an atheist.....otherwise there is every chance of you getting convinced by his arguments!!! Hence read more of srila prabhupads buks hear lectures....practise Krsna Consciousness sincerely and strongly...and then definitely Krsna will give you the strength to convince anyone! Hare Krsna
First of all, a devotee should not associate with materialistic people. On other hand we have to preach to them. Conclusion don’t wasted precious time with people who are no interested, you will wasted time and serious people won’t get the benefit of getting Krishna Consciousness

When Lord Jesus was here on Earth people used to laugh at him. When Lord Rishabhadev was on Earth people used to laugh at Him, pass urine on His body, throw stones and dirts.
There are many saints who were mistreated like this by unintelligent people. But no matter to anything they continued to serve to God being very humble, tolerant - understanding that everything bad is due to their own bad karma.

Such like situation is very nice for just giving up your pride and fully to take shelter from Krishna. That everyone leave me today or tomorrow, everyone will laugh at me to day or tomorrow but i won't leave rendering service to my dear Master Krishna.
"Let whole world laugh at me! Let whole world leave me! Let whole world criticize me...! No matter what is there i will continue my service to Krishna!"

I have nothing to speak of my own. Here I'm quoting what I have heard from a lecture given by HG Gauranga pr in prerna.
You should know, in a fools paradise it is polly to be wise, prabhupada says. These people have lost the right way. So naturally if the majorities are doing something, you see a long line one following the other. And finally they are jumping off the cliff. You know, the person behind is seeing only the person infront and he is seeing the person infront but they are running at such a fast speed, by the time the person reaches the edge, he doesn't have time to stop. So he jumps. So the person behind feels there must be some hope below let me also follow but everyone is jumping down. And if someone comes out in the middle intelligently, thinking that I should not fall, other start ridiculing. What is this. he is deviating. But actually speaking, you'r taking the right path, the safe path. Therefore one should never follow blindly. Prabhupada says- blind leading the blind. Both fall into the ditch. So Bhakti siddhanta thakur, he gives this story, there was a drunkard and a sadhu was trying to preach to the drunkard : you must not drink you'll go to hell. but arun babu is also drinking, the drunkard said. The sadhu replied : he'll go to hell. but varun babu is also drinking, he'll also go to hell. What else leads to hell? I also do gambling, so the sadhudefinately if you gamble you'll go to hell. Then arun babu also dos and tarun babu also dos? They'll also go to hell. And then bhamini, the prostitue whom we visit? Definately she'll also go to hell. But me and 3 4 of my friends visit her? They'll all go to hell! This man answered if every1 is going to hell, what is the problem in going to hell? We'll have nice time there, in hell.
if thats the logic then what can be done? So srila bhakti siddhanta saraswati thakur says: majority of the people, they'r not concerned. If you'r in a lunatic asylum, all the lunatics are convinced that they'r normall. And the doctor who comes to see them he is crazy. All the lunatics are convinced, so each one is thinking in a different way, what he is not. So if some1 comes and tell them and tell I'm sachin tendulkar, they will say no no your not like that. Others will laugh, they'll say he's crazy. the doctor is deemed crazy by the others. if never worry about that, as per as spiritual knowledge is concerned it is not much in demand (KC). The deand is more for material sense gratification. Preaching is difficualt task but u must keep going ahead, whether people accept of not. so there may be opposition but Krsna you just give this knowledge to others you'll become very dear to Me. Wheather people accept or not you keep speaking this philisophy. even if you make mistakes, don't worry. Continue preaching, don't feel what will happen, o i have been defeated, o i have been proved wrong. Don't stop even if u loose an argument don't stop. Even if sometimes u can't give an answer, which sloka in BG says this, how do i refute him, you just speak confidently, you have shrila prabhupada's, all the acharyas and thw hole philosophy behind u. Don't be bewildered, just preach KC boldly and fearlessly and you'll get all the help and inspiration from all the great souls.

Dont worry.. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu went to preach even the mot fallen people.. Actually we have to purify ourselves.. Then people will listen to us.. Just like how Srila Prabhupad was when he went to USA..
