Hare Krsna

In the above verse, it says that Lord Balarama is also crying "O Krsna, please come back".

But I guess Lord Balarama also went out of Vrindavan with Lord Sri Krsna. So how come this verse says so?

This is simple folk lore songs of bengali bhajan

It has nothing to do with real leaving of Krishna to Vrindavan along with Balrama.

It is just a song with a mellow like some gopa balaks were playing and found that Krishna is playing flute and went behind the cows and is not visible .. so the gopa balaks are calling HIM Out oh Kanai...... come back time to go home. Mother yashoda is waiting for us even your brother Balrama is calling ..

It is a folk song with a mellow of the cowherd boys calling out for Kanha to come back as it is getting dark time to leave to for home.

    • Hare Krsna mataji

But Mataji that line "phute na phul vrindavane", meaning "O Krsna, since you have left, the flowers are not blossoming in Vrindavan", indicates that Krsna is out of Vrindavan.

      Doesn't it?

      Hare Krsna

      • I guess this song represents the Leela in maybe another universe, where maybe Lord Balarama was inside Vrindavan when Lord Krsna left

        • Nice imagination... Could be who knows?

I don't know the original author. It was inside the Vaishnava Songs app, inside the section "More Songs of the Vaishnava Acharyas".
