Hare Krishna, sometimes it happens that one cannot get time for somedays for attentive sadhana(chanting,reading)because of too much seva in temple(assigned by gurumaharaj).Which should be given priority?

Initiated devotees chant 16 rounds and chanting cleanses the heart. It is a difficult questions if you ask devotees or guru Maharaj they will suggest reading and serving comes secondary. You will be aware in ISKCON Temples, Kitchen services are offered, who chant 16 rounds. It depends on how much you are deep into it and once you get the taste of chanting, you will never miss it. Hare Krishna Mahamantra is the only recommended Mantra in Kaliyuga by Chaitanya mahaprabhu. There are lot of references for a devotee.
