Hare Krishna, PAMHO,

This is bothering me.

In one of the Temple, I visited One initiated Devotees (Man's) wife has been openly complaining about his Husband's extra-marital affairs. (Broke four regulative Principals)

The Devotee openly agrees, insults his wife in front of everybody, and still persists to marry another person.

NOw my question is how the temple management is still allowing the Devotee(Husband) to conduct temple affairs, (Vash Ashana etcs)?

Why should not we take at least some steps?

Krishna save us in the age of KOLI...

I do not understand "vash ashana", but if anyone is breaking four regulative principles after taking initiation, then is it not good for anyone. Such persons should not be allowed to be involved in temple affairs.

They may be allowed as general visitors, but they should not be encouraged to be holding important positions in temple or involved in important services like fund raising or preaching etc

Please escalate it to Temple president, GBC, Guru but with a mind to help that person and other devotees, not with hatred towards that person if possible.

    • I think he is a Bengal thus "Vash Ashana" most probably referring to "Vyas Asana"

    Hsre KRsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

Yes action should be taken. The hierarchy is respective shiksha guru/ counsellor, local temple authority, then local temple GBC, then diksha guru of the person. Ideally, the complaint shoudl be in writing from the wife against the husband.

If wife is not willing to complain in writing, then the case becomes weak. Though any other devotee can also complain in the same order. Complaint has to be in writing and with proof to the extent possible.
