What do you call a person interested only in their own self realization? In other words a person interested only in chanting and reading with no real outreach?

In the Vedic tradition, a person who is interested only in their own self-realization and does not engage in outreach or preaching is called a pravartaka. This term refers to a practitioner who is primarily focused on their own spiritual progress and does not actively seek to share their knowledge or help others in their spiritual journey. While self-realization is an important aspect of spiritual practice, it is also considered essential to share one's knowledge and help others in their spiritual journey. Therefore, it is recommended that practitioners also engage in outreach and preaching activities to share the benefits of their spiritual practice with others.
you have to call him devotee..and this is what prabupad told us, janma sarthak kari , kara para upkar..first you have to make yourself perfect then you can make others perfect. So practicing self realisation requies chanting, reading and hearing but you can do that with devotees as well.
