How to understand modern geography ?
We all know, as per modern geography, Earth is round , rotates around itself.
They say, Earth is a planet and revolves around Sun.
This contradicts with vedic geography, which says Sun is a planet and revolves around mount Sumeru and Dhruvaloka.
Recently some people started claiming that Earth is flat and does not move, which is in conformity with vedic geography..
They say that, there is no one in this world, greater than Vaishnavas.
Thus, dear devotees of supreme Lord, , please destroy my doubts regarding this, just like sun dispells darkness.

There's no final position on this issue, afaik. Mostly it's explained as various angles of vision - devas (in Puranas) vs humans (in Surya siddhanta, similar to Western cosmology but geocentric).
