Srila Prabhupada asked us all to go out every day and chant in public. This is the most effective and powerful way to have profound realizations about the amazing potency of the Holy Name. Who is doing? If you can only even go out for two minutes but you do it every day without fail spiritual value will exponentially manifest in your life in a miraculous and remarkable way that will surprise you and all your friends. This is the guarantee from the Jagad Guru, Srila Prabhupada. Chant and your life will be sublime. Chant and be happy. People will then see that our message is real. Is there any more effective preaching?
Hare Krishna. My realization is that by chanting the holy names, nama protect us from straying away from Krishna consciousness. I understand that it's our prime duty to chant the holy names so that we can be active in kc throughout the day and it motivates and increases our determination to be in kc always. Lord's names are not different from the Lord and it's Himself dancing on our tongue when we chant His names. By attentive chanting our progress in devotion really improves and our way of living slowly changes from materialistic to spiritualistic.
My realization is that even i'm very sinful, if I surrender to the Holy Name. The Holy Name always accepts me. How more we realize how fallen and sinful we are the more we will taste the sweet nectar of the Holy Name.
