POV: When Yashoda's Lalla wakes up :)
A golden morning
in hushed Vrindavan—
palm-green tresses
dancing in the wind.
Sunlight oozes in
like divine nectar,
into the serene Nand Bhavan.
An auspicious morning
in holy Vrindavan!
A divine hush-veena
plays in the quiet,
a veil of trance
on captivated hearts.
A tiny coo,
as sweet as melody,
captures the heart
of Yashoda Maiya—
dancing like lotuses in a pond.
Oh swarthy one,
whose form bestows
lustre to gold—
your feet, bedecked with anklets,
bear the marks of auspiciousness!
Oh little Lalla,
in whose heart His devotees lie—
arise, oh gentle one!
Bless the three worlds
with your causeless glance,
sunlight to water lily.
Oh brave kin of the Yadavas,
who defeats asuras with a mere blow,
yet engages in sweet pastimes,
running in the meadows and pastures,
in you lies happiness,
and in separation, sorrow.
Arise, oh auspicious one,
whose eyes are the sun and the moon,
and from whom the devas originate.
Arise, oh joy of the Yadavas!
A golden morning
in hushed Vrindavan—
the whole world stills
for a certain blue lotus to bloom...

Hare Krishna,
I am imagining this when Krishna comes out into the courtyard of Nand bhawan from his room wiping His eyes and rubbing all the kajal on his cheeks and yawning and running towards mother yashoda with ankle bells chiming .. yashoda maiyya making butter and it there comes lalla hugs mother from behind and lovingly mother would pull Him to the front and handing him handful of butter. Krishna's little red hands full of butter
Aww... just another day in Nand Bhawan 🥺😄
Hare Krsna Apoorva,
Your poem is a breathtaking tapestry of devotion and imagery, painting Yashoda's Lalla with such divine tenderness that the heart swells with reverence. Your words dance like lotuses in a pond, capturing the celestial beauty of Krishna’s world with exquisite grace and lyrical brilliance. The depiction of Vrindavan’s natural beauty, Kanha’s enchanting form, and His divine influence is extraordinary. The words carry a sweet harmony of music and bhakti - such a beautiful creation! Well done. Hari Hari.
