One dish that can make to demonstrate

My Wife says there can not be taste if you do not put onion and garlic.

Can anybody help to tell one dish that I can demonstrate. I will try my best to make it and demonstrate to my Wife.

It should be a man course like sabzi or dal, not sides like dhokla.

One Trick: Don't show her how you are cooking live in front, but, one day just say that you wish to cook normal food in the kitchen (with Onion and Garlic)
But Use Placebo Effect while cooking (don't use onion Garlic) and then serve it and let Mataji say, "Wow Bahut accha Bana hai, Tumne to mujhse bhi accha banaya" Show Some Humility and say, "Nahi Nahi"
But after a day or two, just tell her that you cooked Prasadam. :D
My Dad tricked my mom like this in many instances and my mom loved Prasadam so much more than the Original version to it.

  • Get a copy of the Highter Taste cookbook.  Everything in it is superb - none of it has garlic or onion.  Hing is a semi-replacement.
