  • I think I m quite late to answer as I saw the question late.
I myself face such issues so I understand better.
I think u should talk to your parents frankly about this issue. You have to study, but provide them with Krishna's Instructions, Lord says surrender all your work with faith to me, I will flourish you, if you are righteous.
If they understand well and good otherwise leave the controversy and worship in Jap Yog which Krishna says is the best of all. Your devotional acts may change them. Once u r settled let them be on their path.
Remember Krishna is above all. U worship him, but if due to your worshiping if he gets hatred stop at once. We have to maintain his pride. We may loose him but but but His Piousness should never be questioned.
If He is yours, You are His too...

    Hare Krsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

Very sorry to read what has happened. I can understand your pain.

You have to do good in studies, thats for sure.

For now, can you not stop eating until your deities are returned to you?

Alternatively, You have to be calm and strike a deal with your mother. You will devote maximum 3 hours a day to devotional activity, balance you will study and do whatever normally you would do. In these 3 hours, keep 2 for chanting, 1/2 an hour for reading, 1/2 an hour for arati and preparations. Alternate between hearing and reading. Secondly, you will stick to your principles, no meat eating under any circumstances.

Thirdly, you will resolve to get better results. You have to pay attention to your studies and prepare sincerely for your future. Your mother is justified in worrying and trying to discipline you (hitting the deities is no justification, I am talking of the intention behind the act).

    Take care prabhu.

    Best of luck.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD
