I agree that it is more important to perform sadhana bhajan under the guidance of Guru than to disturb your mind with something that may be difficult to understand at this time. However Siddhanta Baile chitte na koro Ullasa , we should not be neglectful of siddhanta even when it is difficult.  point of clarification with all humility is that the nature of the fall is not to be considered on the basis of the Dham alone, but the diety of that Dham so our acharyas have stressed that one can not fall from an established relationship with Krishna. On this basis Our Srila Prabhupada has stated in Krishna book,"that upon attaining spiritual perfection the Jiva enters prakat lila or Sri Krishnas manifest lilia in a given universe where he/she will see Krishna face to face for the first time. Because we may have difficulty reconciling Srila Prabhupadas statements made at different times his instruction to balance our conclusions by taking the help of sadhus is important Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur 16th chapter of Jaiva dharma has explained all this nicely. The question may arise why should I look outside the books of Srila Prabhupada?  Srila Prabhupada has commented on the study of the books of the previous Acharyas in his own books.

Dear Mukunda das Prabhu,  Hare Krsna!  I can see you have studied well and received some training in the philosopical conclussions of the shastras.   But my Gurudev is asking us to not bother with this particular subject as it is of no benefit for the new devotees and they will only quarel. That is his order and if we say we follow him we should not douby his judgement.  Due to being mostly untrained and becomming bewildered  by socalled leaders opinions this subject has been found not suitable for the neophytes.   Please look at there questions.    What is there level?      Help to bring them them to the fixed up position of complete faith in Guru Sadhu and Shastra.  Let them work it out from that position.    Please help us in this.    Your servant

Dear Romit Hare Krsna,  This is also From Bhagavtam and Brahma samhita.    Main point is the story  of the crow and the tai fruit.  Srila Prbhupada:

On the top of a tree there was a nice täl fruit. A crow went there and the fruit fell down. Some pandits—big, big learned scholars—saw this and discussed: “The fruit fell due to the crow agitating the limb.”“No, the fruit was ripe, and the weight of the crow landing broke it from the branch.” And so on and so on. What is the use of such discussions? So whether you were in the Brahma-säyujya or with Krishna in His lilä, at the moment you are in neither, so the best policy is to develop your Krishna consciousness and go there [back to Godhead] never mind what is your origin.

According to sastra Srimad Bhagavatam story about Jaya and Vijaya Srila Prabhupada has stated in a purport "unless there is some special work to be done for the Lord it should be concluded that no one falls from Vaikunta(spiritual world) what to speak of Goloka Vrindavan in the direct association of Lord Krishna, it is also confirmed in the sastra Jaiva Dharma of Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur and in Bhagavat sandarba of Jiva goswami. Please feel free to write for verse and references.

Hare Krsna Prabhus,   Please be peaceful and keep an open mind,  Both are correct.  But the ful details are not being understood.   Therfore there is seen ambiguity in many statesments in shastra and we can give many quotes to support both these veiws.   Please consider another perspective,   Mahesh dham is also the spiritual world and from there you can fall.   From there both Krsna and Maya can be seen.   It is between Devi dham and Hari dham and is eternal.  Sada Shiva and Maha Visnu are identical and are the Lord of that relm. That Mahesh dham is the  tathasta region that separate us from the Vaikunthas. And it is there that Sri Krsna took Arjuna to the spiritual sky.   That place is eternal and spiritual and is never destroyed.  There is no birth or death and evryone is Krsna conscious there.    BUT...Unless they have attained Krsna Prema there is always the chance of being attracted by Maya and missusing there indipendence.   Only the devotees who have achieved the eternally liberated position of prema are completly free from the possibility of falling down.   So the fallen nitya bada souls did see the spiritual sky and they also saw the world of Maya.  But due to weak attachment for Krsna they were attracted by Maya and now they have to possess a much greater attachment to Krsna to get free.  Therefore this material world is seen by the devotee as a good place to learn surrender and love for Sri Krsna.      Pleas excuse my lack of quotation from shastra as that will require a lot of time.  and we should consider is its worth the trouble to do this agin and again.  Better to follow Srila Pabhpada.s instruction on this.

“At the present moment you are in mäyä’s clutches,” he wrote, “so our only hope is to become Krsna conscious and go back to home, back to Godhead.”
Don’t waste time with the crow-and-täl-fruit logic, Srila Prabhupäda advised. “Now the fruit is there. Take it and enjoy.”

  • We were but we fell down due to our desire to enjoy separately from Krishna.

We have to try to go back now.
