Hare Krsna
Is my ambition correct
A person's ambition is their personal/ private affair. It should not be seen as right or wrong. But for a person who is aspiring to progress in spiritual life, personal ambition can be evaluated as material or spiritual.
Will this help me in the spiritual journey as a devotee ?
No, this is more closer to a material ambition. It is not likely to help in spiritual journey. It is likely to cause hindrance in spiritual progress.
Hare Krsna
Hare Krsna Prabhuji,
PAMHO.
It is false ego when we identify with the body and think we are special. If you see the vast expanse of time, and also the size of the universe, who are we? Nobody at all. How many people you can recall who contributed to the world some way or the other maybe 50 years ago? I am sure you will struggle to come up with more than 2 names.
We aspire to serve the lord in whatever capacity the lord wants. We aspire to become desireless and hollow like a baans (bamboo stick) so that lord can put His tune and play His music through us.
This will take some time to develop, Right now you are young and maybe exams round the corner. Simply concentrate on chanting and studies. Everything else will follow.
Haribol,
Your servant,
Radha Rasamayi DD
