I live in UP and have absolutely no information on this kind of slaughterhouse.
Specially in Mathura, things have improved dramatically in the past 3-4 months. Ever since Yogi Adiyanath has become the CM of UP, meat eating and liquor consumption is on a strict vigil. Nonvegetarian eating people are at a great discomfort in this zone. And specially, on cow slaughter!!! I do not think it is that easy anymore in Uttar pradesh. It might be possible in some other states, but not in UP.
In your mail, 1. it is not written which business group is doing this? 2. whose phone number is this ? and how will it stop cow slaughter?
Firstly: These automated machines have been in operation for at least the last 3 decades. Nothing new about them. We have to understand, that though there is a right-wing upsurge in India thanks to BJP and RSS, there are plenty of people in India who feel the beef ban would rob them of their only source of meat. FYI, beef is only 30% the price of chicken, and only 8-10% the price of goat meat. So beef forms the source of protein for many poor families.
Secondly: The utopian idea of a vegetarian society is not possible - let's face it. If everyone turns vegetarian, most people wouldn't have enough to eat in India. Supply is constant, demand would quadruple at a minimum. Vegetables/Fruits/Milk products are already extremely expensive taking into consideration the daily earnings of a common man in India. People would starve to death.
Thirdly: One thing I feel about ISKCON, most of the followers here are pretty well to do. Most of them are not aware of daily hunger. Once you face that, and several other hungry mouths to feed, it becomes very difficult to maintain the regulative principles. God knows that. God sees through you nonetheless. And God will deliver you to Golok once it is your time.
Lastly: Don't dial that number. It is a scam. They are simply collecting your details for targeted marketing.

mataji ..i dont know about rest of the country's cow protection and where it is heading towards :-(..but in hyderabad ,i recently came to know about a cow protection goushala..if some one carries mother cow to slaughter house you can inform them,they will rescue and protect..through news..may help

For some reason Siddhartha Prabhuji, I feel that things will get worse for about 200 more years. Scripture says we have more time but I also remember that Kamsa killing children accelerated his death! So I think that instead of a couple thousand years, the Lord will appear in 200 years based off of how this is destroying our dharma. Lord Krishna hates cow slaughtering, and It is GOING ON 24/7, ESPECIALLY IN MY COUNTRY!
I have written text message and called numerous times. Unfortunately I'm in America so my name does not matter as much as those who are in India but I do care for Mother and I do not want Her to be slaughtered !
