First of all Prabhu ji we are not so elevated to even compare and do what these great saints like Gaura Kishor das Baba ji did.
We are with "L" board into bhakti. Not even reached the nishta stage in bhakti.
When we become so perfected na then we can even stop following regulative principles also.
Have u seen Lord Shiva parama Vaishnava sits in most crematorium. For such elevated persons who have lost body consciousness who are no anymore on bodily platform for them no rules are applicable.
Harinama itself purifies you. Yes true, If you feel you are clean and can do it. Personally I don't like it !!! maybe I am still on the body platform not so great as saints.
But Initiated devotees are required to take bath min. 3 times esp. those who are doing deity service. These rituals are not applicable true in chanting.
But tomorrow someone will say can i do chanting after sex? I don't think this is right. If we keep laxing rules then the quality of chanting may go down.
When we are in learning stage in bhakti that is when we are doing Vidhi bhakti it is having some niyam and nishta.
If you are in Raganauga mode then no need to follow any rules.

As one has to take bath after using the toilet, so one has to wash himself with water after sexual intercourse, especially when at a forbidden time.
The thing is some rules are laxed because, Chanting at any cost is most important in Kaliyuga. Now if you feel you are okay if feels you are clean enough you can proceed. BUT STRICT NO NO if you are going to deity seva wtihout bathing.
That is why maybe in ISKCON they make you do chanting 2 hours early in the morning as soon as you finish your daily abultions and shower and sit and chant 16 rounds ( 2 hours dedicatedly). Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

After thougoughly washing hands with soap + water and Legs with water, Yes you can chant on mala.

This reminds me of an Incident of Sri Chaitanya mahaprabhu, as he always used to chant the maha mantra once while passing Num 1 he caught hold of his tounge ,then a disiple devotee came and said what if one person is on his death bed and passing num 1 should even he not chant the holy name .Then Chaitanya mahaprabhu realized and then said The maha mantra can be chanted any time any place regardless of Circusstances and he even called that Follower Disciple his Guru. Another such Incident is Of Gaur Kishor das Babaji who Chanted in Latrine in order to avoid materialistic people troubling him.
So Prabhu to answer your Question you can chant Maha mantra without bathing also and if you go to stool wash your arms and legs and get back to Chanting .

No, It is adviced to take a bath if you are going to chant and keep urself clean mentally and physically and sit a spot without disturbance and chant. If in case you have to attend nature calls in between. Then take a bath. Don't be lazy. Laziness is Tamasic guna.
