    Hare Krsna Devmalya prabhu,

    PAMHO.

The best way to enlighten yourself and satisfy all curiosity is by getting first hand experience. Why dont you start chanting Hare Krsna mahamantra. How many rounds you are doing now? All the answers will come from there. All doubts will naturally get quelled.

Please spend some energy in sincerely chanting for 6 months, minimum 4 rounds, every single day. Read Bhagavad Gita As It Is alongwith it eveyrday.

    Haribol,

    Your servant,

    Radha Rasamayi DD

Why do we chant and limit God to only one name and form ?

It is a silly idea to think that by chanting god's one name, someone is limiting the name and form of God.  This is almost like cat closing it's eyes and believing that it has become invisible.

    nāma cintāmaṇiḥ kṛṣṇaś
    caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ
    pūrṇaḥ śuddho nitya-mukto
    ’bhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ

The holy name of Kṛṣṇa is transcendentally blissful. It bestows all spiritual benedictions, for it is Kṛṣṇa Himself, the reservoir of all pleasure. Kṛṣṇa’s name is complete, and it is the form of all transcendental mellows. It is not a material name under any condition, and it is no less powerful than Kṛṣṇa Himself. Since Kṛṣṇa’s name is not contaminated by the material qualities, there is no question of its being involved with māyā. Kṛṣṇa’s name is always liberated and spiritual; it is never conditioned by the laws of material nature. This is because the name of Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa Himself are identical. ( CC Madhya 17.133)

In this shloka holy names of Sri Krsna are refferred to as nitya muktah. It is impossible to limit God or God's name by chanting or by any other means.
