Krishna in devotee's Heart....

Hare Krishna to all vaishnava prabhujis and matajisJai Srila Prabhupad ji ki.....Being fallen soul I cannot understand one thing, please explain it.Krishna in the form of paramatma is situated in the heart of every living being. So Krishna is already present everywhere, so why it is said that when someone becomes a devotee or start chanting Krishna's holy name, Krishna enters in His heart. How Krishna already present within , enters again in us. I know that the concept is absolutely correct but I couldn't understand it.Please forgive my offenses .your DasanudasAshish Sharma

  • Hare Krishna and dandwat pranam to all Vaishnavas

    Bhaktivedant Srila Prabhupad ki jai....

Many devotees have given their views on this discussion, my heartiest thanks to all of them.

But everyone's views are somewhat different. But I would like to share what I have understood from Srila Prabhupada's book i.e. Teachings of Lord Chaitanya. It has cleared my all doubts about this. It is as follows:

Lord Krishna’s ultimate instruction in Bhagavad-gitä is that everyone should surrender unto Him, Lord Krishna. Krishna promises to take immediate charge of such a surrendered soul. The Lord, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is already in charge of the maintenance of this creation by virtue of His plenary expansion, Kshirodakashayi Vishnu, but this maintenance is not direct. However, when the Lord says that He takes charge of His pure devotee, He actually takes direct charge. A pure devotee is a soul who is forever surrendered to the Lord, just as a child is surrendered to his parents or an animal to its master.

so if Krishna says that He enters in His devotees' heart then it is not something poetic or something which we should artificially think like but it is a fact . Krishna is present in everyone's heart but i.e. in the form of Kshirodakashayi Vishnu form. And when a devotee even chants His holy name Krishna personally enters a devotee's heart. We must refer to what our Acharyas has preached instead of just mentally speculating. I hope everyone agree to this. well I am very grateful to receive such precious replies.

This is called discovering something. For example, the law of gravity was discovered by Newton. Does that mean, the gravity was not present or existent before he discovered? No. It was there even before it was discovered. But it was not known to man as gravity (however, scriptures talk of the gravity long before Newton discovered it). Discover means uncovering something that is already existing. Similarly, When one starts chanting, the covering on the heart is removed and one can see Krishna. Mahaprabhu in his prayers says chato darpana maarjanam... meaning that chanting of holy name of Krishna cleanses the dust accumulated for millions of lifetimes on the mirror of our heart.

    hari bol!!!

Hare Krishna, prabhuji!!! 'Krishna enters in His heart'. These lines are poetic indeed and should not be taken strictly in a literal sense. It means, as the heart gets cleansed, Krishna, the paramatman reveals Himself to the devotee. He (the devotee) feels His presence in his heart. He is present everytime but we can't perceive His presence for our heart being covered with the dust of anarthas that we have collected through millions of births. As our heart gets cleansed, we realise that Paramatman is our sole companion. This is poetically represented as 'Krishna enters his heart'.

Prabhu Ji, it means that the devotees have Krishna always in their heart, in their thought, in their mind etc. Meaning they always love Krishna with their heart. Obviously Krishna is present in every1's heart but Krishna holds a special place in a devotees heart.

    Hari Bol!

    Hare Krishna prabhu

Krishna exists in the paramatma feature in heart of every living entity- a devotee, a non devotee, an animal, a plant a bacteria etc. While krishna is present, unless one is a devotee one is not at all aware about the presence of the lord. Only when one starts chanting hare Krishna one gradually is informed about the presence of lord in the heart.

When we say Krishna enters the heart, it is not in the literal sense that Krishna was previously not present and now is present. It is to be understood that Krishna was present and by practice of devotional service Krishna may reveal his presence in the heart of practitioner.

Hare Krishna Ashish Sharma Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! all glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Devotees carry Krishna in their hearts it means they always think of Him. And because of that Krishna also carries Devotees in His heart meaning He always absorbed about His devotees.

As like Tulasi Maharani was a chaste wife. Because in her mind she always thought about her husband as her husband but when for a moment she thought about other Man as her husband then her husband was defeated.

The Paramatma Form does not exist in Vaikuntha planets. He is only here in the material creation. At the time of full devastation the Paramatma form enters into Maha Vishnu Form.

When we talk about Krishna we talk about Krishna in Goloka Vrindavan and also appeared in Kali Yuga in the Form of Hare Krishna Maha Mantra.
