Is it that one has to be either under Yogmaya or under Mahamaya eternally?

Can you please clarify the following doubt ?

Krishna says:

Bg 3.27 — The spirit soul bewildered by the inﬂuence of false ego thinks himself the doer of activities that are in actuality carried out by the three modes of material nature.

Based on our desires we are directed by 3 modes of material nature in conditioned state, where as in illusion we think we are the doer - until at point of death where we realise we have no control of anything around us except for desiring something (which has little independence ?).

So can we say basically jiva must always be under maya - either under Yogmaya or under Mahamaya ?

1) Under Mahamaya:

If we desire for sense gratification (the selfish desire) , we will be forced to remain in bodily consciousness eternally and keep getting 3 types of miseries as bonus in addition to the the false happiness of boasting about ourselves as being boss of certain things around us and temporary happiness of fulfilment of the seed of desire on getting the object of hankering.

2) Under Yogmaya:

Now if we desire to serve as per direction of the Lord, we infact gets situated in our actual eternal position, where we will be directed by Yogmaya to serve Krishna as per our desire and no miseries follow.

In both cases, every moment each and every jiva (conditioned as well as liberated) is under control based on individual desires (which has little independence). Is this understanding correct ?

According to Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura, although yāvān indicates that Lord Kṛṣṇa cannot be limited by time or space, He becomes limited by the love of His pure devotees. For example, Lord Kṛṣṇa never steps one foot out of Vṛndāvana, because of the intense love of its inhabitants for Him. In this way, the Lord comes under the control of His devotees’ love.

  When the person is doing anything for for self interest he will be in darkness under mahamaya in the darkness, as he is facing opposite to Lord. He is in the shadow of yogamaya that is mahamaya.
  
  He is turns towards Lord he is facing Light, losing interest in self Yogamaya removes the curtain to see Lord. Lord is in kept away from 2 types of mayas from us badha jivas.
  
  Mahamaya is completely facing away from lord, ignorance, darkness. then other is facing towards lord.
  
  well, until we have desires and until we feel we can achieve something by our own cleverness we cannot find Yogamaya also.
  
  Radharani is rightly said to be the Internal potency of Lord!!!
