We are also on youtube a lot of times, but watching devotional stuff. You'd be surprised with the amount of devotional videos that are there in the website - lectures, personal experiences of devotees (remembering Srila Prabhupada, How I came series for instance), even TV Serial (Abhay Charan De), temple openings, abhishek on festival, about any facts (Ramayan evidence in Sri Lanka), etc, for different moods and time). Even devotional movies with English subtitles like Nadiyar Nimai, Sant Tukaram - they are amazing to watch. At the same time, does not reduce our sadhana one bit.
The same desire to watch movies or youtube acan be dovetailed towards watching devotional stuff on youtube. Songs can be channelised to watch kirtan melas.

My personal opinion is that AFTER you chant your 16 rounds a day that it is OK to do a little of that especially if you have a very stressful job and you need a little time to relieve stress.
