Hare Krishna!
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
My wife has a question regarding her Iron Deficiency Anemia.
She isn't a devotee as of yet, but is concerned that if she were to become vegetarian, she wouldn't get the amount of Iron she needs. At the moment, she relies in some meat intake, simply for the quick dose of Iron.
Is there a vegetarian alternative for her condition?
Thank you very much!

Hare Krishna,
Prabhu ji, I don't know why you underestimate Vegetables?
Most of the veggies have iron in them. I know non veg like liver ( which stores iron) is usually consumed to provide iron for non vegetarians. But there are better alternatives to non vegetarian foods.
If you are interested to know and eat healthy plus have sinfree healthy life go for veggies
Only you need to take some classes on how to cook vegetarian foods, and how to turn your palate and taste buds from non veggie to veggie.

Thank you so much. I take no issue with eating vegetarian, I'm inquiring on behalf of my wife.
Thank you for offering these links, I will definitely add them to my research.
Haribol!
Hare Krsna Edward prabhu, bad health or ill health is because of sinful karmas either of this birth or previous birth. With devotion specially seva and by serving vaishnavas we can negate sins. By eating meat which may look solution but I am affraid she is incurring more karma. Like for depression people in the west drink wine as a solution but is that a solution? practically speaking there are many multivitamins and poweders available in the market that provide sufficient iron. Important thing is to find dietician or physician who can help you with this.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your input.
