Impersonalist vs Personalist

Hi

I am reading the Bhagadvad Gita As It Is and I have noticed Srila Prabuhupada talks alot about Impersonalists and Personalists in relation to how they perceive God/Krishna.

Can somebody please help me to understand what these two terms actually mean?

Many thanks

"impersonal"  here means "not a person" or "having no personality". impersonalists believe God is not a person, only an "energy" or "light", they don't accept the personal feature of God.

Personalists accept that God is the Supreme Person. He has a transcendental form, names, qualities, likes, dislikes, emotions, pastimes etc..
