If Krsna is all-powerful and knows everything, then did He already know that I was going to forget Him? Why didn’t He stop me?

If Krsna is all-powerful and knows everything, then did He already know that I was going to forget Him? Why didn’t He stop me?

Hare Krishna,

Krishna gives independance free will. If you want to explore something other than HIM . He lets you go but He is sitting in you heart as Supersoul keeping an eye on you. We are not away from Krishna. He is very closely present with us but gave you free will to chose what you want. He wont stop you and behave like bad parent who taunts and whips his sons and puts them in a room and lock it and don't let them go explore what they want to explore. Krishna waits for you to come back to Him with love. You go away from Him. He wont call you back. If you need HIM you will come back to HIM.
