This is also due to how brahmans fell (especially after parikshit maharaj was given a curse by a brahma boy, in repercussion of this brahmans fell) which led to people being deviated from varnashram dharm, and led to establish their Other religion. They are like offshore of sanatan dharm but motivated by some selfish people, who misled people.
