Generally I mark the shlokas I like or get to know which are Important. Then listen their pronounciation on YouTube and repeat it. Of course remembering the translation is also important. I learned many shlokas like this some from other scriptures too. Also I think understandng about their meanings also help you to remember them.

It is also reccommend memorize Translation also from Bhagavad Gita As It is (Any 1 language)
Note : Bhakti Shastri course is systematic study of Bhagavad Gita & a few other books.

technique is memorization just as you do your academic subjects. Pronunciation skills.
