Hare Krishna. I had a great time doing 6 hour a day Harinama in New York City, USA. I was just curious if any other Temples were doing anything like this 6 hour a day Harinama or is New York City the only one who does this? When I say Harinama, I mean going outside the Temple and going out to be with the general public every day. Thanks.

In Chennai, I have seen nagar sankirtan happening - for maybe 2 hours, not 6 hours (the heat may be a factor here). It could be a weekly affair - once a week this happens.
Other places within Chennai, there are regular nagar sankirtans - going out on the streets doing harinaam, distributing pamphlets or temple address and deity picture cards, maybe giving prasadam.

Glad to hear that this is sometimes going on in Chennai. It was so wonderful to do NYC Harinam 6 hours a day. I got a lot of spiritual realizations as a result. I would like to encourage everyone to go to NYC for the 6 hour a day Harinama. It will be the "best vacation" you will ever experience. That's for sure!!! Haribol.
