Nowadays, it is increasingly becoming difficult to judge people. They can talk to you nicely in front of you, while criticize you in front of others. One can see different behaviors at different times, specially in an office environment. So my question is what are the ways in which one can judge such friends? I mean whether their intention is good or bad, whether they are just joking or they have a different intention ?
How to judge their intentions ?

In Kaliyuga ..there are no friends; Explanation by Srila Prabhupada in Chaitanya Charitamrita; You should only trust Krishna and his inner guidance. This will be possible if you do chanting sincerely because other than the Supreme Lord there is no true friends. Friends is a term that is very lose and has no meaning in today's context.People pose as friends ;even yourself for that matter if you need some work to be done from others

I made some comments but they disappeared?????
Don't trust the people at your office job period. They will smile in your face and talk badly about you. Anything you say can and will be used against you at your job. They are not "your friends" they are just "your co-workers". Look for friends at your Temple. The only way to know for sure if someone is a "true friend is when disaster strikes you in life. Your so-called" friends" will leave you in your time of need. If you have a "true friend" that person will not leave when you need them the most. They will stick with you all of the time no matter what. It's hard to find a "true friend".
