    Hare KRsna Prabhuji,

    PAMHO.

24 * 7 involvement does not happen overnight. For that, you have to start your basic sadhana, as has already been mentioned by Chirag prabhu. And as Maral mataji said, the entire amount earned by a grihasta is not for him and his family alone. It is also to maintain other varnas and ashramas. Pls keep that in mind and try to keep money aside every month for charity.

Once you start on the basic sadhana and become regular in that, the rest of the answers you will get. You have to start on the journey to reach anyway. Pls get into the water, only then you can swim. Sitting on the shores, its not possible to measure the depth of water.

The main duty of people in Grihastha ashram is to take care of other Devotees in other 3 ashrams:

    Brahmachari

    Vanaprastha

    Sannyasi

So they earn money, produce foods ... keep for themselves something for basic needs and other part they give away as a donation.

    So it is sacrifice.

  • I am not grishtha. ..nor am I entirely sure of the word lol. But the question seems fairly strait forward. Mindfullness. Just like the Buddhist tries to be mindful and totally focused on the task at hand in the moment remembering the Buddha during every task. Or the abrahamic faith...it is said Abraham spirituality every task in his life. Same concept would apply. Remember Krishna in every task you do. Remember as well you are not the doer and maybe even...at least in my opinion....tithe some of the money to something Krishna related. It is not a holy life without it being a whole life. Meaning material and spiritual aren't separate components. One should spirituality his existence which naturally must take place in the material world. Everyone has a different path. However. Asceticism is extreme and materialistic is extreme. One should be in the middle and above both modes. My opinion.

    Much love
    • Ps. My phone likes to spell check. Supplement majority of the world's spirituality with spiritualize. ..lol
