Create a structured schedule that allocates specific times for each activity, ensuring that you dedicate time for both academic responsibilities and devotional practices. Prioritize tasks, set realistic goals, and use tools like planners or apps to stay organized. For additional support in managing academic tasks, you might find helpful examples and resources on civil rights movements at https://papersowl.com/examples/civil-rights-movement/ to guide your research and writing.
Hare Krsna dear Mataji,
PAMHO.
One of the first side effects of coming into devotion is - we develop detachment from our constitutional duties - it could be studies for students, or hourse work for non working ladies or work for working people. THat is a fall out of not having proper knowledge or proper understanding of the instructions given in Gita.
As and when one understands better, one realises that it is the reverse, we actually have to be more efficient than a karmi, because we are now ambassadors of Krsna. What we do will reflect on all devotees - people will say this person took to devotion and therefore failed in studies. So it is better to stay away from devotion. Wont it be better that people say - see even an average student became good in studies because he started to get blessings from the lord. Then we are good ambassadors.
When we deeply engage in Krsna katha or kirtan, it calms the mind and makes our soul happy. THat should aid better concentration. Then we are able to concentrate better on studies or whatever we are doing.
Regarding housework, that will be there. Do your duty, thinking of KRsna. While cleaning the house, mentally think - this house is Your temple, I am cleaning it so taht You are pleased. That same activity of cleaning the house becomes a devotional activity because of mentally engaging in Krsna.
Same with cooking - think and pray - O Radha Rani, what would You like to prepare for Krsna? Make me an instrument please. Whatever you cook, ensure it is offered to Krsna before given to family members. The act of cooking becomes devotional service.
Like tjhis, try to dovetail all mundane acts into devotional service.
Regarding Government job, whatever has to happen will happen. Go with the flow.
Keep your priorities clear, make mental list of what is not negotiable (like chanting, cooking/ cleaning thehouse, preparing for exams) and for the rest, as per time place circumstances. Like Bharat prabhu rightly said, during exams, minimise sadhana and concentrate on studies.....
Haribol,
Your servant,
Radha Rasamayi DD

Whenever i try to deeply engage in krishna katha or krishna kirtan ...then after that my mind doesn't get foused in my studies
We have to see studies as a duty and service to Sri Krsna. Krsna's devotees are best in their service. For example Arjuna was best archer and he used his skill and hardwork in Sri Krsna's service. Same with Hanuman. Topmost servants fo Sri Krsna have these 3 qualities - Conscience, Character and Competence
Conscience means being absorbed in Sri Krsna during sadhana and being aware that the service is for Sri Krsna
Character means to have highest integrity and conduct as per dharma, moral, social and legal values.
Competence means to strive to be the best in out line of work/ duty.
Negligence of studies does not please Sri Krsna. Mind may trick us into thinking studies is material and useless and not related to Krsna. But that is just mental excuse for laziness and escape our responsibility.
We must not succumb to such tricks and focus on fulfilling our duties and responsibilities considering that Sri Krsna has made me a student so it is my duty to study. Sri Krsna , Sri Rama, Six gosvamis, Lord Chaitanya were very expert in studies. We should study as service to Sri Krsna
Should i balance bhakti and studies
By maintaining dynamic balance betwene the two. Whenever your exams are close by, just do the bare minimum sadhana and focus all rest of time and energy on studies. Whener there are not exams etc and when you have holidays, festivals etc focus on intense spiritual practice.
i also have my daily work in home to keep the house clean cook food etc
This may be not be necessary for students.
