HARE KRISHNA

i'm unable to understand this thing-

Visnu, Krishna and Rama are all non-different and eternal

then, how krishna/Rama is fountainhead or the original cause of all incarnations, if all the incarnations reside eternally in the spiritual realm?

Just like there are many material planets in the material sky, there are many many spiritual planets (Vaikunthaloka) in the spiritual sky which are far more fantastic in comparison. Every spiritual planet has a pre-dominating Visnu Deity. Every Visnu form has His own planet. The planet with the topmost mellows is the abode of Krsna and is known as Goloka Vrndavana. Likewise, Lord Ram and His entourage are in the Ayodhya Dham in the spiritual sky.

These spiritual planets are not subject to destruction. Even if every material universe is destroyed, the spiritual planets will remain as they are, therefore, they are eternal.

    • Avatara means one who descends.

When Lord Krsna desends from Goloka once in a day of Brahma, He is also known as Avatara. However, actually, He is the Original Personality of Godhead. He is Avatari, or the source of all Avataras. Aham sarvasya Prabhava mattah sarvam pravartate..

      • yes prabhuji i understand this but the place where i'm facing difficult is-- if all incarnations of the godhead is eternal(no beginning) and the reside eternally in spiritual realm then how avatari can be the source (if someone had no beginning then there is gonna be no source)

Srila Prabhupada says: "In Brahma-saṁhitā the example is given of an original candle which lights a second candle. Although both candles are of equal power, one is accepted as the original, and the other is said to be kindled from the original. The Viṣṇu expansion is like the second candle"

and my doubt is if one candle (Visnu) is eternal (always burning) then how can the original candle (Krishna) can light it?

Prabhuji, this is the doubt i'm facing because of lack of knowledge, lmk where im lacking in understanding.

That is a very good observation. If we are all eternal, without begining and end then how come we have a source?

It is said in Vedic literature that:

          nityo nityanaam cetanas cetananaam

          eko bahunaam vidhadhaati kaaman

It means that amongst all eternals there is the Supreme eternal. We are also eternal expansions of the Lord, mamaaivamso jive loke jiva bhuta sanatana. There are two type of expansions of Lord Krsna. Those expansions who are integrated with the Lord are known as Visnu tattva and then there are the separated expansions known as jiva.

Now, the Lord is also Supremely conscious amongst all eternals. Most importantly, the chief eternal is supplying the needs of all others. eko bahunaam vidhadhati kaaman.

You don't have to take the candle example literally for trying to understand something else. It just means that just as every candle burns with equal illumination, all Visnu tattva is equally powerful. However, the original candle is not depleted by lighting so many candles. The Absolute Whole is always perfect and complete and that is Sri Krsna , the source of all emanations.

        • the problem is that you are trying to understand things that are beyond time with our material world experience which is enveloped by time.
