i need to know how to become a chaste, i need to know what it means to be chaste. please answer if you have some legitimate knowledge to share.

Chastity can be described in various ways. E.g. being chaste to Krsna means only thinking of Krsna, worshipping krsna, working for Krsna etc. If one worships other devatas then he is not considered chaste towards Krsna. Similarly being chaste to ISKCON movement means NOT being affiliated to other sampradaya and following their teachings unless one is an advance devotee whose mission is unification and broader aspects of KC.
Your question about chastity seems to imply chastity in marriage I assume.
It is natural for a women to remain chaste becasue Srila Prabhupada said that for girls it is easy that they will remember and meditate on their first love. Therefore the girls were married younger in early days so their focus would be on their husbands only.
Even now we see so many Vedic Women very chaste because of the environment they may be brought up in. So it is very important, the association of like minded people. Just as one's spiritual advancement is dependant on association similarly developing all these wonderful qualities can also develop with right association and from concentrated hearing and chanting.
A girl naturally has qualities of shyness, so if she is trained from a younger age to remain shy, then it would be very easy for her to remain chaste.
Avaiding prajalpa, remaining focused in one's sadhana, wearing devotional clothes and ornaments helps in remaining chaste. Of course avoiding association with opposite gender because Srila Prabhupada gave the example of fire and butter, how it melts. So that is why he said to keep the genders separate. We have the quote in sastra saying that a man should not sit alone even with his mother, sister and daughter, what to speak of other women. So in Vedic Culture we have so many rules, we only have familiar with them and follow the instructions of seniors.

Don't unnecessarily think or try to contemplate too much on this subject of women's/wife's duties.

Its all about Our Mental State, if we are happy from Heart and Mind then all look Nice everywhere and if we are fighting with something in our mind we can not feel happiness.
One who is Free from KAAM, Krodha, Lobha, Aham & Moha Mentally and Physically can attain Chastity, Cause they may lead you to create a problem for yourself.
Chaste means "Pavitra" and that is not just about Physical but of course Mentality also.
Kindly Watch out, study and follow the Character of SITA Mata in "RAMAYAN" and you will get your answers own. Cause it's all about making our self chaste on your own.

That is absolutely incorrect. Chastity in every respect, including kissing, touch and even the thought of it.
It is becoming a statement of freedom and eqality to let a man pay for their food and shopping. Then allow him to kiss them or what ever else... is that not prostitution?
Once a woman loses her chastity, she lost everything.
how can i protect my chasity? i am soon to be married how does a married woman respect her chasity?
chastity means wife does her own duties with hard work. For example, her duties are to cook nice food and offer it to Krishna then to the family members, to keep house clean, wear in such a way so that she won't disturb her husband's mind, sweet speech, care of children, accepting husband's relatives as her own, respect to her husband...
chastity does not only mean to betray one's husband with other man no! It is the most degraded stage of unchastity. But no to perform her own duties is also considered as unchastity. For example, wife does not keep house clean or she does not respect husband's relatives ...
And one should be chaste in mind also. Even in mind one should not think of other man, rather than Krishna of course.
It is difficult but marriage ashram is there only for that. So we both protect each other from prostitution. When husband looks to other women wife protects him and vise versa.
So it is not easy to become chaste. But possible. And of course wife should always pray for her husband and for all those who are dear to him. Prayers are powerful.
and please remember one thing! Which i also liked so much:
in the lecture i heard that IF WIFE IS CHASTE HUSBAND NEVER EVER WILL BE ABLE TO GO TO OTHER WOMEN EVEN IN MIND HE WON'T DO THAT. IT IS THE LAW OF CREATION.
In this way even only wife if she is chaste can save the family. Even if husband is not so good but wife can change him and save family.
But if she is unchaste single handedly she makes a hell out of a home and brings disturbance to whole family and relatives.

Someone understand chastity as a floor cleaning cloth or a slave but it is not so.
Wife is the other half part of a husband. She is one who becomes mother to her husband when he is in trouble, she is a very close friend when he needs to solve some problems, she is a small daughter of him when the subject touches submissiveness and obedience, ...please hear lectures!
