How can we get perfect idea of fanatism?

JAI ACHARYAS

HARI BOL

I want to ask what is the perfect definition of fanatism or fundamentalism?

Our Acharyas discourage pride over thinking one's religion as best. But isn't Vaishnava religion spiritual and eternal unlike other religions? Isn't it highest goal to become Vaishnava or revive Krsna Consciousness?

Is it fanatism to spread such ideas?

Fanatism or fundamentalism typically refers to an extreme and rigid adherence to certain beliefs, often religious or ideological, with a lack of tolerance for differing viewpoints.

While many people believe their religion or spiritual path is the best, it's essential to respect diverse beliefs and maintain humility. The pursuit of spiritual growth is a personal journey, and different paths may resonate with different individuals.

This can lead to a better understanding pay for assignments and appreciation of the nuances and complexities of language.

It's not fanatical to share one's beliefs, but it becomes problematic when it leads to intolerance, discrimination, or the dismissal of others' beliefs. Promoting one's faith or philosophy should ideally be done with respect for others' choices and a willingness to engage in open and respectful dialogue.

Hare Krishna Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Religion without knowledge is sentalmentalism. And knowledge without religion is speculation.

'religio' means connection. Connection with God. So in this age by chanting the Holy Names of God we connect to God so where is here fanaticism?

    We can explain why are doing it all. We can explain scientifically why we wake up before Sun, why we eat particular food and do not eat others;

We can explain how i am not this material body: body is made out of many cells and each cells contains many atoms and each atom has yadro and around move proton and neutron which are just bulk of energy and that energy non other than sound...........

so my body is a moving sound. So materialistic people are working day and night to support this material sound vibration. It is moving it is not the eternal thing. Always changing.

Only reality is the soul and the Holy Name which is coming from Spiritual world. Soul is standing and material body is moving around the soul.

So what should be feed first?

    Who am I?

If i am soul then why i am so much concerned with this body not the soul?????????????????????????

    So this is not fanaticism.

    .........................

Also we say and accept that Jesus and other predicted in Shastra prophets are true and they came to preach to some particular group of people. Also we do not say to all to not to eat meat. We as Vedas say first offer meat to mother Kali and only once in a month, and only by reading special mantra...

    so this is not fanaticism.

    .............................

One should understand what is he doing and others what are they doing. Clearly. Not with hatred.

    .......

    Your servant,

I got this simple explanation from some devotee in my inbox.

      "

Question: How Not to Be a Fanatical Devotee?
Could I ask you about how not to become a fanatic on the path of Krishna consciousness and how to understand if my mood and behavior are fanatical or not?

Thank you for your online course!

With my best wishes and regards, Vadim

Answer: Know What You are Doing and Why
The way to avoid fanaticism in Krishna consciousness is to cultivate a deep understanding of the teachings of Krishna. If you think, act, and speak blindly for Krishna without knowing why, you are a fanatic. But if you know why you think, speak, and act for Krishna in a certain way, you are a learned philosopher and a fixed up devotee. But even if you don't know what you are doing and why you are doing it, if you serve Krishna even fanatically you are unlimitedly benefited. This is the transcendental nature of Krishna consciousness."
