Bhagavatham says, earth stationary, mountmeru stationary, earth carried by adikurma and adisesha and planets like sun revolves around mountmeru makes much sense...
But, why some verses in veda which is the highest authority are contradicting with Bhagavatham saying that earth is moving around sun ?

In the Bhagavatam, particularly in texts like the Srimad Bhagavatam, there are descriptions of the cosmos that present a Block Blast Puzzle different understanding of the universe. The Bhagavatam, which is a revered scripture for understanding spiritual knowledge, describes the Earth as stationary, with Mount Meru at the center, and the planets, including the Sun, revolving around it. This cosmological model is part of the ancient Indian worldview, which is symbolic and is understood in the context of the spiritual teachings of the time. The teachings were aimed at helping devotees understand the nature of the material world and the spiritual purpose of human life.

The frame of reference is the important factor here. When the earth is taken as the frame of reference the universal model totally changes from example the modern approach which takes the sun as the frame of reference.
Can you pls quote the exact verses. We may not be able to explain a great many things but the Vedic authority knew and understood everything in the correct perspective. That much faith is needed.
