Dear Sir/Ma`am,
Hinduism believes in a flat earth. In fact even Buddhism and some other religions.
Talking about Vedas and Hinduism, it is believed that the scriptures were narrated by god himself and it is not possible that they can be untrue.
How is it possible to believe in a flat earth in today's time ? Since we know that the earth is not flat, that part of the Vedas seem false. So does that not mean that the entire Vedas is false ?
Please send some knowledge with regard to this.

Don't be told and beLIEve Veda means Knowledge NOT beLIEf . Read the Srimad Bhagavatam for yourself chapters 16-25 vedabase.com get the 5th canto part 2 go to the PLATES CHARTS the universal covering that covers the flat earth all around is spherical or egg shaped a perfect shape for the job a Cantabury arch ,the strongest arch and larger base for the water.
You say " We all know, and live by the fact that the world is not flat which is very easy to prove." Nonsence to put it lightly. People don't know, they think they Know but don't know, then claim they do, Frog philosophy, belief . And millions KNOW it is flat. In this age of Kaliyuga it is not possible for our fallen souls to understand the great scriptures like Vedas.It should be left untouched by us . Only a pure devotee who has never done a sin can understand them

Then why are you quoting from the Veda , names and terminology ? We not only understand the earth is flat we know it is flat it is obviously and observably flat, and I have sinned plenty of times. You don't want to touch it because you don't want to know. Research FLAT EARTH.

A circle is round. So is that good enough for you ? Round and flat like a coin or a round table. So the earth is flat round and circular like in the Veda , thats good enough for me , glad you agree. Did he say that he didn't want you to think for yourself, to have a blind faith, that humans have 4 main faults, give you charts and tons of info of a FLAT PLANE ? Is earth flat or spherical ?
Contemporary science/textbooks describe earth resembling a sphere which rotates around Sun in solar system along with other planets like jupiter, mercury etc.
Above is one of the best examples of systematic generation and propagation of ignorance by controllers of society in the worst form of governance called democracy where the controllers derive greatest power in keeping the masses enslaved to the system of ignorance while seemingly providing them a means of livelihood.
Earth is definitely not spherical as textbooks/ pictures represent.
Vedic scriptures describe in detail the bhuloka which is a planetary system resembling a disc. Vedic cosmology is very complicated because it goes into higher dimensions. But calling earth flat would be over simplification to say the least.

common sense scientific observations & experiences show earth is spherical. Vedic cosmology is in terms of higher dimensions hence can't be understood by us as we & our brains are tiny

If we reject vedic truth given in Srimad Bhagavatam as we and our brains are tiny and go on on to accept common sense "scientific observations" it is unfortunate indeed.
The right approach would be - Even though our tiny brains cannot verify the vedic concept we accept it as truth because it is coming from a perfect source and reject the "scientific observations" because they inherently carry 4 defects namely - Imperfect senses, tendency to commit errors, cheating propensity & subjected to illusion.
