Fear that I am not a devotee.

Please Accept my Humble Obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada, Sri Gurudev & Sri Gauranga.Hare KrishnaI feel that I am not a devotee. I love Lord Krishna, but I get so angry easily. I don't have the good qualities of a devotee. I'm a fault-finder also, similar to the story of Ramachandra Puri...well not that extreme but it's bad.I guess I have some good qualities because I can recognize my bad ones. But there's more bad qualities than good qualities. How do I fix this? This is very a serious problem in my life.Your Lowest Servant,Bhakta David

  • Hare Krishna!

Thank you to my dear friends & Guru's Jagadatma Das Prabhuji and Sudheendra Prabhuji.

I will cry to Lord Krishna to help me become a better devotee.

Your words have encouraged me a great deal.

    Your Aspiring Servant,

When a devotee openly admits his short comings in front of other devotees and the Lord, Lord will give strength to overcome such short coming. So, as Jagadatma pr suggest, cry to Krishna to help you. Fault finding is one of the greatest disease one can have in KC. We need to try and avoid finding faults. And this can be done by glorifying the devotees instead of finding the faults.

I also have this disease and am trying to over come this. What I try to do these days when I see some one doing something wrong is to just think that 1) how rare is the devotees in the world in Kaliyuga!!! 2) When Krishna who is sitting as paraaathma and watching every activity and is granting permission to do it is not having any problem with this devotees mistake, who am I to even comment on it? I was hearing a lecture some time back in which the speaker was saying that Fault finding is the job of ones own Guru maharaj and its none of our business. These things really help many times.

    Hari bol!!

Dear David Hare Krsna.   I am very pleased to hear your honest and humble admissions.

Sometimes a devotee may be so sad knowing the truth about how fallen he is.

-Cry!   Cry to Krsna!   "Please help me!!"

Soon,  you are going to make some advancement.

Now just remain humble and chant Hare Krsna.

       Hare Krsna.
