Prabhu/Mata, please bless me alot. Please don't forget to bless me and free me from offences towards you. Pranam to Srila Prabhupada
I have a question. Isn't sense gratification service to Krishna indirectly because material sense is the servant of Krishna? In Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2, Text 38 it mentions " Do thou fight for the sake of fighting, without considering happiness or distress, loss or gain, victory or defeat—and, by so doing, you shall never incur sin". Does that mean if I eat for the sake of eating, I will not get sin? For example, if I eat meat for the sake of eating meat, I won't get sin.
If sense gratification is service to senses, and senses are the servent of Krishna, why can't I gratify senses? I am confused. If I eat meat, I am serving senses, which is indirectly serving Krishna. If I eat meat, isn't that duty? If that's duty, why do I get sin?
Does duty mean to satisfy the soul? Is that why I need to eat Krishna Prasadam? If I ate meat, food in mode of goodness would I get sin because meat, food in mode of goodness does not satisfy the Soul?
Why is cleaning considered duty? Why is cleaning also duty? Does cleaning the body by showering or washing satisfy the Soul?

Lord Krsna specifically reminds Arjuna of his specific duty as a ksatriya. Let us explore this duty. What is this duty. The specific duty of a ksatriya is to protect those who cannot defend themselves. In the course of performing his duty, even if he meets with destruction, it is better than not doing his duty.
Similarly, there are different duties for different varnas. The prime duty for mankind is laid down by the Lord Himself which is to abandon all other duties and surrender to Him alone.
To surrender to the Lord becomes easier if we understand the Lord's position. He is the father of all living entities. If some children were to suggest to the father that they are better than other children so they should be allowed to eat them. Do you think the father would consent?
The human being has the discretion, to know what is right, what is wrong, animals don't. The laws that apply are different. Anyhow, meat eating kills the compassion in a human being so it is a regulation that needs to be followed, to progress in spiritual understanding.
And what is this understanding? That the spirit soul is never destroyed even with the destruction of the body. Therefore, every poor innocent helpless animal, bird or fish we kill to satisfy our tongue is factually not dead. He will aquire a suitable body for payback. Indeed, they become Ruru animals to torment their killers in the hellish planetary systems.
This is the verdict of the sastras.

If a tiger eats meat for sake of survival, it won't incur sin. Because Krsna has arranged other animals as food for tiger. Tiger has no natural option for survival other than eating animals. The same is not true for humans. Meat is not the natural or the ordained food for humans. Humans have many natural food which doesnt involve killing of animals.
If sense gratification is service to senses
It is not
If I eat meat, isn't that duty?
No it is not. Duty is not whatever you wish to do. Duty is recommended by vedic scripturess. No vedic scripture recommends that humans eat animals. Arjuna was a kshatriya. A kshatriya's duty is to punish wrong doers. Hence Krsna advised Arjuna to fight and kill Karurava side. Most Kauravas were faithless sinful wicked people. Such people are killed by nature. Bheema ripped hands, legs, chest of Dushasana and drank his blood. But Bheema does not incur sin by doing that. Bheema gets glory and good results due to it. Because people like Duryodhana, Dushasana always get what they deserve. Cruel punishment in form of gruesome death. There are thousands of humans who are being killed in Ukraine, middle east. This is all according to their past deeds. Based on their end, one may conclude that their deeds may not have been good. Yet people cannot make the connection that those who kill animals for sake of tongue, get such ghastly reactions.
Does duty mean to satisfy the soul?
No
If I ate meat, food in mode of goodness
Meat is result of killing of an animal. It is not in mode of goodness. Anyone even remotely involved in killing, eating meat incurs sin.
Does cleaning the body by showering or washing satisfy the Soul?
No
why can't I gratify senses?
You can.
