Hare Krsna

" Very recently an archaelogist published findings indicating that Lord Christ, after being buried, was exhumed and that he then went to Kashmir. "

Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.3.18 Purport

Unless there is great relevance in this statement it would not find itself in thd pages of Bhaktivedanta literature.

It appears that the soul can exist even through the bones, as shown by the personal example of Hiranyakasipu. It shouldn't be hard to believe in the resurrrection of Jesus Christ!

      • They created a system of religion which can include Hindus and Muslim. That was at the time needed. But that is not a good system of religion. ( SRILA PRABHUPADA )

        • Ab kahaan se aagaye Hindus instead of Christians? Anyhow, you are a fanatic, no philosophy, only sentiments.

What to speak of philosophy, you don't even know history. The British brought Christianity to India and Punjab was the last strong hold against the British empire under Maharaja Ranjit Singh. He was a Sikh. Sikhism was founded before British entry into India. Clear your basics.

          • Ok you can continue your sikh faith. Don't bother now

            • Guru Nanak Dev ji is my initiating spiritual master and Srila Prabhupada is my instructing spiritual master. I don't care if anyone has a problem with that. I am not bound to give any explanation to anyone regarding that.

      • Lol.. Islam and christianity developed from single father and 2 mothers. they are bhai bhai. anyhow.

Looks like you are a religious fanatic.

I leave u to ur faith.

Does the Srimad-Bhagavatam support the fact that Christ is Lord and that he was resurrected after his crucifixion?

No. Srimad Bhagavatam does not specifically refer to Christ or to his resurrection. Srimad Bhagavtam gives example of a person that was alive in difficult conditions because of being high self disciplined (Hiranyakashipu) or spiritually elevated (Prahlad).

Unless there is great relevance in this statement it would not find itself in thd pages of Bhaktivedanta literature.

The relevance is clearly mentioned in the translation & purport of Shlokla SB 7.3.18.

It appears that the soul can exist even through the bones . A yogī can keep himself alive in a transcendental state even if buried not only for many days but for many years.

The reason why Srila Prabhupada mentions the example of Christ is because in US, Europe etc many people already believe(d) in resurrection of Christ. Srila Prabhupada is implying - just as you believed Christ had a deathly painful expereince and he was resurrected, similarly Hiranyakashipu underwent extreme austerity and was still alive.

Srila Prabhupada is trying to reference their existing faith in Christ and repose it into the transcendental words of Srimad Bhagavatam. So flow of faith/belief is starting at Christ and ending in Srimad Bhagavatam.

However when you mention -  It shouldn't be hard to believe in the resurrrection of Jesus Christ! , the flow of belief is - From Srila Prabhupada's purport to Christ, it is exactly in the opposite direction.

This is not to say that your understanding is incorrect, but saying that the direction of understanding is reversed and purpose of Srila Prabhupada's reference is probably defeated.

    • Hare Krsna Prabhu

If what you say is true, I would have addressed Christ as the Supreme Lord, and not just Lord.

      • Can u tell me. When Vedavyas ji made SB was the  Christianity and islam or your guru nanak even existed? When are these new religions sprung up? Which year did Jesus appear? When was the SB written? Why  are you inlcuding Christ into SB??  Why islam and christanify didn't mention in bible and quran about Krishna and Guru nanak? Or Chaintanya Mahaprabhu? Why are you including these new religions into out sanatan dharma? Why doing interpolation into SB?? These dog cow eaters... wine alchohol drunkards.... cannot even come close to be called Lord or demigods even. Esp. The jesus and allah followers. Why you always try to bring allah and christ ? Looks like uou are influenced like your  sikhs who are now a days leaving sikhism and taling up chirstianity and islam.  Don't dilute vaishnavism by these mayavaadi  faceless god belief's if you are into them just leave vaishnavism. There are Ras khan and Haridas thakur ji who were muslims totally left their dharam and came did sharnagati to Krishna. If you are travelling in 2 boats by placing one leg into this one leg into other boat you can go nowhere.  Lord hoga woh apne folllowers ka for us Lord aur supreme lord ek hi hai Sri Krishna.

        • Hare Krsna Mataji

For us Lord aur Supreme Lord ek hi hai?

There can be many Lords. Lord Brahma and Lord Siva are mentioned in many places in the Bhagavad-gita and the Srimad-Bhagavatam and here Christ is similarly mentioned. That cannot be omitted from the text. Elsewhere, it is said that even if one compares a great Lord to the Supreme Lord Sri Krsna. He at once becomes a paasandi, or atheist.
