Does Krishna have internal organs?

PAMHO devotees, Hare Krishna. I have a question regarding Krishna's anatomy.

Does Krishna have internal organs like a stomach, liver, spleen, kidneys, gallbladder, bladder, intestines, esophagus/ trachea, etc.? Does He have muscles and bones, skin and fat cells? Does Krishna have a tongue and teeth? Does He have a brain and spinal cord with a nervous system? Does Krishna have chakras like the crown chakra and solar plexus?

Does Krishna have a belly button? Is it internal or external? Does He have nails on His fingers and toes, and do His hair and nails grow? Does Krishna have patterns on His chest, and does He have nipples?

If Krishna does have internal organs, do those organs each fulfill the purposes of all the others? For example, Krishna can see with his ears, and hear with his eyes; so therefore, can His intestines fulfill the purpose of the heart? And what are those purposes? Does anyone know?

Forgive my ignorance prabhus.

  • By the Discreptions of the nature of thimgs & intatys within the Spiritual Sky it sounds like (NO). Ot sounds like one part of the being(s) is experiencing that which all other parts are experiencing! Good question. He/Krishna was engered ones or twice while in this body though, once on the Souls of Hi's feet & Once on the battlefields. by Grandfather Maha"Beshma mahna.

    Hare Krsna

    Does Krishna have internal organs?

    Yes & No

When there is pastime in which Krsna needs to manifests any function of internal organs then he would manifest them Example

    1. When Krsna was on driving chariot of Arjuna in battle field while fighting Bhishma, Krsna would manifest blood from wounds, this would give pleasure to Bhishma because Bhisma serves Krsna in virya rasa.

    2. Krsna sometimes would be unable to steal the butter from homes of gopis, so in his anger he would pass urine in their house & run away.

So blood urine etc are products of internal organs.

When Krsna is required to perform a pastime which is inexplicable by material laws the internal organs don;t manifest

    Example

    1. Krsna shows universe in his mouth

    2. Krsna expanding into 16108 while in dwarka etc

These cannot be explained if u think of Krsna as an  person with ordinary bodily functions.

Can Krishna  see with his ears ?

    Yes

Can His intestines fulfill the function of the heart?

    Yes

    aṅgāni yasya sakalendriya-vṛtti-manti

Each of the limbs of that transcendental figure possesses in Himself, the full-fledged functions of all the organs (Brahma Samhita 5.32)

    And what are those purposes?

Krsna's body, organs is not like ours. Krsna's body is Krsna Himself. We have 2 different aspcts - body and soul which are different. But for Krsna His body is the same spiritual soul.

So purpose of organs of Krsna is purpose of Krsna. Krsna has not external purpose to achieve. He just performs pastimes with His associates for His pleasure, for pleasure of His associates eternally.

  • Hare Krishna,

    PAMHO.

Yes, He has got internal organs like heart, liver, kidneys etc. And this is also true that with one of His organ, He can do the task of the other organs also.

It is said, God created man in His own image. Therefore God and man look identical. So when man has got certain organs, then God must possess all of those else man won't be His image. In fact man is the perverted reflection of God. In short man's body is not absolute, it is relative unlike Lord Krishna. Therefore to give relative tasks, strengths to man, God had to provide relative organs to us. One fore seeing, one for hearing etc. But for us to have these, God must possess these. So Lord Krishna also got n-number of organs.

    Does this answer your question?

    YS Ratnadeep.

  • Lords original body form is eternal and unchangeable, never born, does not grow and will not die.

When Krishna appears, His body seems to grow from His childhood toward adult stage, but the Truth is He is unchangeable and His body doesn't grow. Therefore we can conclude all such past activities of Him, to be work of illusion created by Yogamaya.

His body is the shelter of all material creation and shelter of transcendental world, therefore everything reside in Him :

    .

SB 10.8.37-39 — When Kṛṣṇa opened His mouth wide by the order of mother Yaśodā, she saw within His mouth all moving and nonmoving entities, outer space, and all directions, along with mountains, islands, oceans, the surface of the earth, the blowing wind, fire, the moon and the stars. She saw the planetary systems, water, light, air, sky, and creation by transformation of ahaṅkāra. She also saw the senses, the mind, sense perception, and the three qualities, goodness, passion and ignorance. She saw the time allotted for the living entities, she saw natural instinct and the reactions of karma, and she saw desires and different varieties of bodies, moving and nonmoving. Seeing all these aspects of the cosmic manifestation, along with herself and Vṛndāvana-dhāma, she became doubtful and fearful of her son’s nature.

    .

    .

That's what is inside Him, but one can ask, whats outside of Him then.  Actually, duality such as inside or outside doesn't exist when He is the subject, because He is all pervading.

    • SB 11.31.11 — My dear King, you should understand that the Supreme Lord’s appearance and disappearance, which resemble those of embodied conditioned souls, are actually a show enacted by His illusory energy, just like the performance of an actor. After creating this universe He enters into it, plays within it for some time, and at last winds it up. Then the Lord remains situated in His own transcendental glory, having ceased from the functions of cosmic manifestation.

      .

There is two kinds of illusion, Maha maya and Yoga maya. The second one is responsible for Lord pastimes.

As the actor plays in the fantasy movie, where the blood, urine, weapons,..are not real, similar to that, the Lord played in His pastimes.

Less intelligent people do not understand whats reality and whats illusion in the movie, then how such people can understand Lord and His pastimes.  Because of that, one who is wise should not waste the time by learning from those who swim in the ocean of ignorance.
