Size of the soul is the same - whether of an ant, an elephant, a human being or a demigod.
then why didnt his body burst in next 5-6 years? and because it didnt burst it means soul size didnot (cannot) increase. may be during meditation or some sadhana he experienced something like that otherwise soul size cannot increase
Are you an enlightned soul?
Swami Vivekananda said that out of his own experience.

Please refrain from mentioning experiences of non-devotees. They may be famous in other forums, but they are unwelcome here. Best to mention about Vaishnava acarya coming in one of the 4 bonafide sampradayas.

Do you know how many Thousands and Thousands of enlightened Guru and Rishis came on this planet. India is the land of sages. Many still believe there are Enlightened sages in the Himalayas.
But, I'm 99.999% sure that, 99.99% of the great enlightened Sadhus do not belong to these 4 Vaishnava Sampradayas.
The 7 Sapta Rishis do not belong to 4 Vaishnava Sampradayas.
Veda Vyasa himself never chanted Hare Krishna Maha Mantra. Gautama Muni gave Gayatri Mantra to Veda Vyasa and not any other Mantra.
Hare Krsna Prabhuji,
PAMHO.
I agree. There are countless realised souls who have come to earth since time immemorial.
To clarify, sapta rishis came to this world to fulfill some purpose. They are like demigods, who are given different posts for fulfilling their purpose. They need not belong to 4 vaishnav sampradayas.
What we are saying is - Bhagawad Gita - 2nd chapter is clearly mentioning different characteristics of the soul. In that, it is mentioned the size of the soul as well. Nowhere it is mentioned that size ofthe soul can be increased. That is the reason we are certain the size of the soul cannot be increased.
Now coming to Swami Vivekanand - his philosophy doesnt match with our Gaudiya Vaishnav philosophy. So we stay away and do not comment.
Chanting of mahamanrta is the prescribed mantra for this age of kali, as propounded by Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu - where the lord Himself came in the form of His own devotee. That is the prescription for us and that is why we have full faith in this mahamantra.
For example, Dhruv chanted Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya - that does not mean that he is non devotee. He is in fact devotee of the highest order.

but only in the purport written by Shrila Prabhupada, does that mean it is his interpretation or has he taken this information from another source?
Srila Prabhuapda has clearly given the reference in his purport.
The Śvetāśvatara Upaniṣad (5.9) confirms this:
śatadhā kalpitasya ca
bhāgo jīvaḥ sa vijñeyaḥ
sa cānantyāya kalpate
“When the upper point of a hair is divided into one hundred parts and again each of such parts is further divided into one hundred parts, each such part is the measurement of the dimension of the spirit soul.”
Similarly the same version is stated:
śatāṁśaḥ sādṛśātmakaḥ
jīvaḥ sūkṣma-svarūpo ’yaṁ
saṅkhyātīto hi cit-kaṇaḥ
“There are innumerable particles of spiritual atoms, which are measured as one ten-thousandth of the upper portion of the hair.” (Purport Bhagavad Gita As it is 2.17)
The second shloka above is from Caitanya Caritamrita Madhya Lila 9.140

The supreme personality of Godhead - Sri Krsna is all knowing. Sri Krsna is the source of this world and everything in it including the living entities. Being the master of all living entities he knows everything about the living entities. Sri Krsna doesn't need to measure anything. He has perfect knowledge of everything. He can give any knowledge to anyone. That is the beginning of parampara.
The vedic scriptures like the vedas, the upanishads, the puranas also have their origin in Sri Krsna. The vedic process of obtaining knowledge is to understand it from the perfect source. The way of measurement, observations, hypothesis, theories (big bang etc) are all imperfect, inaccurate and incomplete ways of knowledge acquisition.

Yes, great devotees like Veda vyasa, Valmiki, Shukadev Goswami etc all are empowered by Sri Krishna to compile the perfect knowlege coming from Sri Krsna in the scriptures from those who seek to be relieived from the miseries and seek absolute truth.
It is as good as Sri Krishna tells Vyasa dev and Vyasa dev writes it. That is the way spiritual knowledge is transmitted through parampara. Nobody needs to measure or estimiate or calculate the size of soul.
