In the srilaprabhupad bhagavad gita there is no gita mahatyam slokams after the completion of bhagavadgita we have to read the gita mahatyam otherwise the result will not be received. After every chapter there is some like this i attached the file in that the information why that is not there.

If possible buy this book it has all that gita mahatyam stories which you are telling about. This is distributed at ISKCON centers ask for this book.
Yes, If you know the gita mahatyam you will understand that importance of reciting each sloka what happened to people who recitied the perticular sloka how they got to higher planets and their stories are mentioned in this book. It is from Padma Purana.
BG as it is is complete in itself. People read it not for getting some results or gain out of it.
People read it to implement the words said by Lord in real life situations and Gita is not a religious book. BG is the way of life. How to live in this world and how to die and leave this body. This a manual for.. how to use this body for higher purposes of life.
To increase in faith you may add these gita mahatyam stories and understand how great are the words of Lord and each verse has it its own story to speak about.
Pls. buy this book. ( this is a children book with good illustrations) but you can even ask for adult version of the same book too.
