I read an article on inconsistencies in Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam on action,knowledge,bhakti,soul etc and got confused and this shook my faith what should I do

Yes there are inconsistencies.. Of course there are according to what mode of nature are you are in ,, goodness, passion or ignorance.
The literature is in the mode of goodness only, sattvic literature.

One of the things I found out very soon when I started reading the books of Prabhupada twenty years ago, what attracted me was the consistency of the whole text.
In fact, it was the consistency in the text that inspired me to read more and more as understanding becomes easier without conflict. There is not even the slightest tinge of difference in the philosophy explained in the Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-bhagavatam and other books by His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The article is ill-motivated. I can say that from my personal experience. Just take up the first Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam along with Bhagavad-gita as it is and see for yourself. This is my request to you. Let the books convince you because no one else has that kind of time and patience you need. Enlightenment through the books of Prabhupada is possible, no doubt about it. Just a little sincerity is required.

First of all, stop reading these nonsense articles. Have you read all of Srila Prabhupada's books? No na. You dont have time for that, I am sure. But you have time for browsing the net or finding this kind of article. As it is, you dont have firm faith. On top of that, you will go and take elephant bath, so that your faith is shaken. If you cant read Srila Prabhupada's books, atleast chant non stop/ whenever you have time.
Without reading the article, how can anyone point out the mistakes in that article?
There are NO INCONSISTENCIES between Gita and Srimad Bhagawatam, be rest assured. If you want more clarity, make that article available to us.

I would slightly differ from the above advise, just to protect the sanctity of these forums - Please do not share that/such article here. You may share what specific inconsistencies shook you faith.
But even before that if possible please study Bhagavad Gita As it is, and try your best to sort these inconsistencies on your own. I am sure Lord Sri Krsna will help someone who sincerely wants to understand His divine words.
