Please accept my humble obesciances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I have almost all of Srila Prabhupada's books. My husband and I have been in Krishna Consciousness for almost 10 years now. He wants to teach and I would like to become a pujarini. I had a friend who did it with Gaur-Nitai.
What is the prcess and what should I study?? I'm also learning Sanskrit.

Firstly, really sorry for not addressing your question earlier.
When you say you want to become a pujarini, do you mean in the temple or at home? To become a pujarini in the temple, you have to check with local temple authorities, I woudlnt know. Reason - there is a BIG debate going on in GBC regarding female diksha gurus. At the same time, I am aware that Srila Prabhupada allowed matajis to do pujari service. SO I dont know what to answer. Best to do what the local temple authority decides. Anyways, you cannot become a pujarini wihtout temple management consent.
Please understand that all answers are not with us. I am aware that deity worship course is taught in Mayapur.. I am not aware whether it is open to everyone, or only for gurukul students. So half knowledge is dangerous. Thats why I was resisting replying.
If you want to become a pujarini for your home deities - most most welcome. Plaese bring deities under guidance from your diksha/ shiksha gurus.
