attachment to the fruits of our action...

Hare Krishna!
Lord says in Srimad Bhagavatam ' attachment to the fruits of action binds a person to continual rebirth'. Suppose if i m a student,i study and write the exam and m passed. Hence i did a work and got the result as pass. How can i get detached from this fruit? He also says to surrender all our karma to his feet. How can i practice this in my daily life? Plz can anyone suggest me?

  • I am not an authority on the subject, but still I take the opportunity to explain in simple language.
You presumed you are a student : what is behind that thought is that you wish to earn good money and lead a peaceful life for yourself and your family.
You presumed studying, writing and passing the exam : What is the reason behind this - Supplementary to your main reason to earn good money and lead a peaceful life for yourself and your family.
NOW : Since KRISHNA is absent in both the cases, you are the owner of fruits of action.
If you bring Krishna in the picture, he will become the owner of the fruits of action. How to bring Krishna in the picture ? You simply have to keep this in mind that you are a student because Krishna wants to increase your intelligence for some cause. You have to presume and keep in mind that studying writing and passing the exam - this is a duty for Krishna so that you can carry out his orders and commands.
The moment you bring Krishna in the picture all your worries are gone. You are not attached to any fruits.
Since your birth you have been tought "I", "My", "Mine", "Me" and that has become a hard habit . Chanting HK breaks this hard habit of "I", "My", "Mine", "Me" and instead it instills in your mind "Krishna", "Krishna" & only "Krishna"
SO START CHANTING HARE KRISHNA. It is like a "T Pin No.of ATM" for Krishna to enter your Main Control System that is Your Brain.
As you increase your Bhakti, minute details of the topic starts revealing themselves. For this moment only the above will suffice.
    Hare Krishna !
