It Is True That Krishna Is Known Only Through 'Bhakti'
But have listened and read at many places that our Vedic Literature
Had Been Doctored , Some Text Had Been Added and Removed ..
I have came to know that original BG contained 745 shlokas ..
But Present contains 700 verses ..
One More Thing ,
I myself have found different stories in different puranas ,
this creates a controversy,about authentication ..
Example :-- There are three different stories regarding birth of Ganesha
In different Puranas ..
One More Example : -- In Valmiki Ramayan There Is Not A Single
Instance Where Lord Ram Prayed Shiva ,
But In Tulsidas Ramayan There Is ..
Apart From That ,
I Found Only Puranas Dedicated To Shiva ,Have Refused Supremacy Of Krishna ,
Nor Each And Every Puran Have Accepted It ..
Be It Bhrama-Viavrat Purana,Or Any Other ..
Similarily Shiva Have Praised Krishna In Every Purana ,
Except Those which are dedicated to Shiv himself ..
Why are these differences ..
Are All Puranas Dedicated to Shiva are Mayavaadi ..
Example : In Padam Puran Shiva Says That Only Vishnu can provide Moksha ..
But in shiv puran he says I will provide moksha to everyone who do any little thing for me ..
In shiv puran He asked Vishnu and Bramha to find depth of their origin ..but no one can could find it,but every where we read shiva comes from Brahma ..
We read shiva went to Vaikunth , but it is taught that brahma and shiv can not see Vishnu ,
First They worship Vishnu with Purush Sukta , Then Vishnu Gives Message To Bhrama through his heart ..
I am hopeless and confused ..
please answer these questions ..
I feel if these question are answered properly any one who want to be
KCON will not deflect from his path ..

“Devotional service, or sense activity for the satisfaction of the Lord, is called abhidheya because it can develop one's original love of Godhead, which is the goal of life. This goal is the living entity's topmost interest and greatest wealth. Thus one attains the platform of transcendental loving service unto the Lord.
The conditioned soul is bewildered by the external, material energy, which fully engages him in sense gratification in various ways. Due to engagement in material activities, one's original Kṛṣṇa consciousness is covered. However, as the supreme father of all living entities, Kṛṣṇa wants His sons to return home, back to Godhead; therefore He personally comes to deliver Vedic literatures like the Bhagavad-gītā. He engages His confidential servants who serve as spiritual masters and enlighten the conditioned living entities. Being present in everyone's heart, the Lord gives the living entities the conscience whereby they can accept the Vedas and the spiritual master. In this way the living entity can understand his constitutional position and his relationship with the Supreme Lord. As personally enunciated by the Lord Himself in the Bhagavad-gītā (15.15), vedaiś ca sarvair aham eva vedyaḥ: through the study of Vedānta, one may become fully aware of his relationship with the Supreme Lord and act accordingly. In this way one may ultimately attain the platform of loving service to the Lord. It is in the living entity's best interest to understand the Supreme Lord. Unfortunately, the living entities have forgotten that this is in their best interest, and therefore Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam says, na te viduḥ svārtha-gatiṁ hi viṣṇum --s.b.7:5:31
Everyone wants to achieve life's ultimate goal, but due to being absorbed in the material energy, we waste our time with sense gratification. Through the study of Vedic literatures—of which the essence is the Bhagavad-gītā—one comes to Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Thus one engages in devotional service, called abhidheya. When the living entity actually develops love of Godhead, he has reached the ultimate goal, prayojana. In other words, one who becomes fully Kṛṣṇa conscious has attained the perfection of life.

Lord SHiva also can give liberation but what is the use? Liberation-merging into Brahmajoti is like a suicide for the soul. what is the use?

When Lord Chaitanya went to Varanasi, seeing His effulgent, beautiful Form Mayavadi sanyasis was surprised, why such like a young Sanyassi does not study Vedanta but only dances and sings.
Lord Chaitanya told:
"My Gurudev told me that I am FOOL, because of that can not understand Vedanta but can only chant and dance in ecstasy."
Of course here Lord Gouranga Mahaprabhu meant to say that those Mayavadis were FOOL. They do not know the last goal of Vedanta: ALWAYS REMEMBER KRISHNA AND NEVER FORGET HIM by chanting His Holy Names.
Soooooooo many things are written in Vedas. But we do not read them without purports of Srila Prabhupada and other bonofide Spiritual Masters in proper Parampara.
We are fool! Just we have to accept it. and read Srimad Bhagavatam again and again.
Srimad Bhagavatam is Krishna Himself. Even reading 30 times we do not get tired or feel that we are loosing time, but by every time we get new realizations.

Vedic texts reveal that Ganesa is the son of Siva and Parvati, although his sonship like that of his half-brother, Skanda-Subrahmanya, is peculiar. According to one version, Siva "emits" from his body a handsome son who becomes a seducer of women. Parvati is offended by her son's exploits and curses him to have the head of an elephant and a big belly - in other words, to be ugly. Though with this he would seem fated to celibacy, he gradually settles down with two wives, Buddhi ("wisdom") and Siddhi ("success"), who can see beyond his physical ugliness.
As time passes, Ganesa becomes the commander of Siva's troops (gana-isa or gana-pati) and because he becomes famous as one who creates obstacles for the demons and removes obstacles for the demigods or the devotees, he is known as Vighnesvara ("lord of obstacles") and Vinayaka ("one who removes [obstacles]"). The "obstacle" theme also tells us why Ganesa uses a rat as his vehicle. As rodents generally succeed in gnawing their way through any obstruction, the rat, it is said, symbolizes Ganesa's ability to destroy every obstacle.
In another, more popular version of the Ganesa story, Parvati, wanting to seclude herself from her passionate husband, Siva, especially while bathing, creates a son from her perspiration and appoints him the guardian of her quarters. Soon after, when Siva seeks admission into Parvati's inner chambers, Ganesa, unaware of Siva's identity, refuses him, pushing him away from Parvati's door. Not one to be slighted, the enraged Siva summons his attendants (ganas) to do away with this bothersome upstart. But Ganesa defeats them one by one. Finally Visnu arrives and drawing upon His maya (mystic potency) He creates confusion on all sides. This enables Siva to cut off Ganesa's head.
Parvati, furious at what has become of her "son," decides to send a multitude of goddesses to harass the demigods. These celestial women succeed in making it clear to the noble gods that their queen can be appeased only if her guardian is revived. Siva then tells the gods to go north and cut off the head of the first living being they see. The head is to be mystically placed on the body of the decapitated Ganesa, who will then come back to external consciousness. As fate would have it, the first living being to cross the path of the gods is an elephant.
The various Ganesa stories described above - found primarily in the Siva Purana and the Brahma-vaivarta Purana - are somewhat divergent, and tradition accounts for this by placing the variations in different cycles of cosmic time. "Because of the distinction between kalpas [ages]," the Siva Purana explains, "the story of Ganesa's birth is told in different ways." The cyclical structure of Vedic time allows for repeated descents of the Lord and His devotees, so details of the pastimes may vary.
According to popular Indian tradition, Ganesa is a benign and helpful deity who brings success and assures worldly well-being. Since devotees of Krsna are more interested in spiritual realization than in worldly security, ISKCON tends to forgo the worship of Ganesa. Lord Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita (9.23), "Those who are devotees of other gods and worship them with faith actually worship only Me, O son of Kunti, but they do so in a wrong way." Lord Krsna uses the word avidhi purvakam, "in an inappropriate way." Why is such worship of demigods inappropriate? Because it is materially motivated. As Lord Krsna says, "Men in this world desire success in fruitive activities, and therefore they worship the demigods." (Bg. 4.12)
Since we are essentially spiritual beings in a material body, material rewards can never truly satisfy us. Only spiritual rewards are satisfying for a spirit soul. Therefore Srila Prabhupada concurring with the above two Gita texts, says "[To worship] Ganapati is not required, but sometimes we do it. Just like the gopis - they worshiped Goddess Durga, Katyayani. They did not require to worship her, but that was part of the social system. But they asked, Mother Katyayani, give us the opportunity to have Krsna as our husband. Their aim was Krsna." (Morning walk, Los Angeles, January 10, 1974)
So the worship of Ganesa, like that of his mother, Durga (Parvati), is not condemned, but it should be done for the proper reasons: Ganesa is a devotee of Lord Krsna and we can pray to him to remove obstacles on the road to Krsna consciousness. In this regard, Brahma-samhita (5.50) explains that Ganesa is Krsna's devotee. The success achieved by worshiping Ganesa depends on Lord Krsna and therefore such worship should ultimately be directed to Krsna: "For the power to destroy all obstacles to progress in the three mundane worlds, Ganesa holds on his elephant head the lotus feet of Govinda. I worship Govinda, Krsna, the primeval Lord."

regarding the authenticity of Vedas: just like a machine comes with a user manual, likewise Vedas is the user manual for human beings..
year by year scientist books keep on changing but Vedas have always remain unaltered and will always be...
and so many things which were written way back in Vedas are now being prooven right even "scientifically" be it how child is born, whether plants have life, how far is sun from us, number systems, ayurvedic cures.. all this was mentioned in Vedas already so these are just small proofs
and
i am not asking you to blindly trust anyone prabhu, if you have to accept something, first of all you should see the parampara( whether the people selling books belong to some parampara?, what do they preach? are they keeping god in the centre of everything? and most of all.. are they following those teachings themselves?? )
prabhu, here at ISKCON, we all follow the teachings properly and we belong to the Brahma Gaudiya samprada, here you must have seen so many sanyaasi who have literally dedicated their life for the service of people, see this website only.. where else in this world will you get so much content free of cost??
here the main aim of devotees is to connect the visitors to Krishna and that is why everything is free so that everyone can take benefit but some loopholes are everywhere, cz this is Kalyuga and due to that people blame the whole Iskcon society and that is not at all acceptable, will you blame the whole college if one teacher committed some crime?? the thing is that some people delibrately join Iskcon to harm its name and devotees here are so humble that they accept even them cz devotees feel that somehow those mayavadis may also get elevated but the reverse happens, they bring a bad name to the image of Iskcon.
well i would say these are also maya's trick, you observe the devotees you meet and then you yourself judge whether the service they are offering is selfless or full of self interest??
whatever we give at Iskcon, all the scriptures are authentic so you can have faith on them cz trust me, this is an express highway using which you can reach the final destination- goloka Vrindavan
have faith, Krishna will take care of everything.
